Hey all, so I just finished up with the paint on my AoE Evasion Prime.

Here are all the paints I used, just Citadel paints that I got from my comic shop.

First off I painted the base figure to look like it was brand new

I used Citadel Layer Runefang Steel on the Legs, Shoulders, arms, fake canisters, cheek guards, and ears, Kantor Blue on the hip guards and the waist parts.

Then I just went to town on the vehicle mode first by painting mostly Citadel Base Karak Stone, mixing the Karak with Citadel Base Ceramite White for the lighter stripe, stippled the Karak on the legs/feet, Used Citadel Base Leadbelcher on the grill, rims, canisters, and the parts below the wipers, and Abaddon Black on the windows.

Repeated that for Robot Mode and stippled the Karak on the blue parts and used the Leadbelcher for the fake grill.

To set the paint (and make it feel less gritty) in I used Citadel Gloss Bloodletter on every part that wasn't blue giving it a more dirty look (that was actually unintentional, I thought it would be clear like on my other paint jobs)

Then to add detail I drybrushed Citadel Dry Ryza Rust (a technical paint) onto the rims, the smoke stack, lightly onto the lower grill, the trailer hitch, and around the panel lines (where the real ones are, not the lines on the figure)

And just a comparison between original and the new one

Looks a bit pink for my taste, but it could be the lighting. Add some flames and I'd say it's pretty much done.

    Nice work!

Good job! Does the Kantor Blue match up well with the blue plastic?

Yea its the shitty lighting I have down here and my iPhone 4S doesn't like red (then again no iPhone does). And any recommendations on flame stencils since I can's free hand anything to save my life?

I'd say that the Kantor is about a 85-90% match, it really depends on how much is applied and what lighting is present. I've tested both Kantor and Caledor Sky and the Kantor was the closest match.
