This might just be part of the updated forum and I never noticed before, but before the site was updated (maybe after too?) but not now, you could see a message on a thread stating that an ignored member posted and you could click it to read the post. Now, if an ignored member posts I don't see that message at all. I can tell an ignored member posted only if they are the last person to post. Like I see, "ignored member posted 2 minutes ago" on the thread from the main forum. But, if I go the thread there are no messages stating that an ignored member posted. Is this part of the updated forum? Can I change it so I have the option of seeing this person's post if I wanted to?

 

This has come up b4 by a couple of other folks as it caused some confusion in a thread or two... in this system... IGNORED MEANS IGNORED... you won't get any notices or see the posts by the IGNORED individual at all... unless you remove them from your ignored list.

With this system, if you choose to add someone to your IGNORE LIST, it truly ignores ANYTHING by that member... there's no peeking.

Well, at the end of the thread it says "2 hidden messages from ______" "show content" and if you click that, still nothing happens. It's confusing because it looks like it's giving you the option to see the message, but it still doesn't. So, I thought something might be wrong.

 

Did you remove the person or persons from your ignore list? Just as a test?

I tested this feature by ignoring YOU.   and it worked.. first, your posts weren't showing for me in the Brag thread, but when I clicked on 'show content' all of your posts showed up for me.
