    1. I was saying they were 'ringing the bell' - I'm not a fan of any city-formers I've seen... and all of Titan Class entries have been "meh" at best for me. That leads to...
    2. That scene pictured I believe he says something like "it turns into a building? who'd wanna play with that?"
    3. the 2nd entendre of my post was a critique on the "coincidental" placement of the entryway. I know "but it's a robit"... I'm still not opening that.

    Well what’s fun about that?

Couldn’t it be like a robot that turns into a bug or something?

The GIJoe Pit was only $130 15 years ago. It wouldn't be hard to make a similar Ark playset for core class at $160 today.

Now wondering what a Female Trypticon would look like.

Would probably look the same actually.

I am keen on all of these, but especially the Ark. Just... a Titan class Ark! Finally, confirmation! I'm a bit disappointed it's going to be smaller than both Omega Supreme and Scorponok but I don't care too much because I'm just glad that we're getting a transforming Ark!

Beast Wars Scorponok looks good and I'm glad he's a chunky boy. It's great that we're getting more of the original Predacons, because Megatron looks lonely on my shelf, like he showed up wanting to catch up with old friends and it's mostly people he's never met.

I'm still waiting on that Blackarachnia retool for Tarantulas, a Pterosaur and a Waspinator, just to get that original Predacon line-up :)

Could've put on some lipstick to help make it obvious, but the arms were too short. Couldn't reach.

The rumour mill currently has Tarantulas as an entirely new mold.

FWIW, I got that set a year or so back, and of the four, my "Prowl" was half-Sideswipe parts, and the Starscream was missing bits. Only Optimus Prime properly had everything for assembly.

These were unopened packages, so I have to assume that such problems are not uncommon.

The ark vehicle mode looks completely different from the leaks. Were the leaks made up, or did hasbro completely redesign it after the leak?

If the leaks were real, then it's been changed for the worse, imo. In comparison, the alt mode looks horrible. My heart is broken. ark-leak-square.jpg Screenshot_20210407-142035_Instagram.jpg

I went ahead and ordered a set. Should be interesting. If nothing else, the packaging will display nicely.

The leaks are obviously design sketches, not the final model.

And even then, the only thing really different is the loss of the smaller thrusters on the sides, and the loading ramp is narrower on the final product. Well, and the open gaps on the side for leg clearance.

And considerably smaller. This is probably where the idea for core class functionality originally came from instead of Micromaster sized and smaller.

Well this thread is crazy but hey, might as well say something. Any new titan reveal I approach with apprehension because my collection already takes more space than I really have for toys. So figures are in constant rotation. The ark seems like a great idea as a playset, but do I really need a new space consuming bot that doesn't really have a character? I'm thinking no, but it will still be hard to resist.

    Galvation looks amazing.

Scorponok looks like too much is being crammed into a deluxe.

The loading ramp on the actual toy looks better, more proportional to the ship. The design sketch suggests they probably were considering more playset-style functionality at some point, and the extra large loading ramp/bay may even have been able to house Deluxe figures.

So we've already been spoiled with Galvatron, Scorponok and Autobot Ark. Hopefully they will save the rest like Tracks and Rhinox as a surprise tomorrow.

At least that would have gotten me excited for it. From a functional point of view, this Ark is honestly no better than the Ark that came with Allspark Armor Optimus Prime in Cyberverse other than it's bigger.
