God damnit, I thought I was skipping the Ark.

 

My god, that Scorponok is perfect. So glad he’s got the bee, even without the true gimmick. Great colors, perfect head sculpt. Dude can’t get in my hands fast enough.

The Ark sucks, but I’d take the Teletraan bot off someone’s hands.

 

Is he part of the Ark, or his own character to purchase?

 

Scorponok looks perfect! His face does look a little walrus-y, but I can get over it. After a childhood in Texas where scorpions were a legit concern, I'm more than okay with a mildly friendlier face. And I love the bee!

The Ark looks awesome in both modes, but price and size means I'm really picky about Titans and I'm just not sure if he's worth it to me. Looks great, but I'm just not sure it's right for me. I might pre-order and ponder.

Galvatron is still gorgeous.

Everything here looks great imo. I love that Scorponok had the articulation to properly sting in beast mode, and I kind of like how dumpy he is in robot mode. It suits his shithead personality.

Very weird that Galvatron's render shows him with reversed shoulders, indicating the copies we've seen so far were misassembled, but the actual photos of the toy seem to have the same "misassembly." Schrodinger's Galvatron lmao

 

Definately part of the Ark. Mainframe Transforms into Teletrann-1 it seems. That's honestly really cool.

I had always assumed that the action Master always Transformed into some sort of super Computer. looks like my guess paid off.  

 

It certainly looks poorly engineered enough to be a SWTF toy.

 

Hasbro got soo much they have to reveal of TF product for the next 8 months, that it’s best to loosen it up by revealing a few figures for today

 

I'm more excited for Mainframe than the Ark itself. Those giant empty sections on the sides of the Ark are painful.

At this point I think I would get the ark just to leave in alt mode and put it in the back ground of my display.


(If my display were big enough to shove a freaking ark back there which right now it is not.)

 

I'm sure a third party is mocking up an upgrade kit as we speak.

 

Well well Scorponok is a bit of a little chonker isn't he. EEh not quite scree accurate but hell do I love him still. He has a wee little cyber bee to boot. Only thing going to need to getting used to is that realistic scorpion mode face. Oof that's going to take a lot of getting used to.

The Ark weell I'll just say it the chest and head make me seriously just wish for a Titan Class Tidal Wave. Otherwise the Ark looks really good in ship mode(ignoring the big honking gaps). Still not sure about robot mode. He's rather lanky in some respects and bulky in others and I don't know if it quite works for me as a whole.

Seriously Hasbro when are we going to get that released separately in Mainframe colors.

*slaps ceiling* You can fit so many robots up there.

 

Scorponok is a mixed bag. His robot mode looks too short and squat, with a ton of back kibble. He'll definitely end up the shortest of the BW Deluxes and I simply don't like how rectangular his torso is. His scorpion mode, on the other hand, is amazing. That's clearly where the priority was and I'll probably get him just for that. I love that his tale can bend all the way forwards. I was also hoping his Cyber Bee would be more intricate in it's design but I'm just glad it's included.

The Ark is freaking awesome. I'll be a little disappointed if it can't open up into a playset for Core figures, but it still looks awesome. Plus a transforming Telletran 1 is cool and it's neat they included the Sky Spy. Don't care for the micro Optimus. The Ark's lack of proper scale and usability as a playset means he'll be a low priority for me, but I do hope to get him at some point.

Galvatron is still about a 50/50 for me. He does look pretty cool in these images, but I know that in normal lighting, while facing him head on, he'll look really wonky, with his stubby legs, overly wide torso and insufficient molded detail (for my sensibilities). If I get the chance, I'll probably buy him on sale.

Love how they've finally given Mainframe a reason to exist and something memorable to do and you already have people going "hmm I think I'll wait until they make him look like the forgettable and useless original one again, that was better".
