MAYBE...but this is his drone he used for scouting, surveillance and espionage. In the show and the original toy's one look actually more like a bee/wasp.

So Teletran-1 is the robot mode?  

 

Looking at the CAD render, I believe the volcano shots are mistransformed. Obiously the scorpion head folds into the chest, but I also noticed that the crotch looks retracted. in the CAD its further out looking much better

I wonder how well one can fold those legs up against the back, but the volcano shots seem to be the best that can be done

beast mode is killer indeed. I consider this to actually be a better beast mode than megatron. Four articulated legs at the base (unlike BA) of the leg and two articulated pairs of legs. Fully articulated claws and a well articulated tail. No ugly gaps and scary realistic. If he was given 3rd party claws neglecting the accessories, he could pose as a scorpion anatomy model, right down to the robot mode shoulders who look just like that on an actual scorpion, it's figgin ingenious

 

So I'm guessing we won't be able to peg the Cyber-Bee in to Primal's chest like in Gorilla Warfare?

Well. Whenever these go on sale someone's gonna make a real quick buck on Radicons, because I'm willing to pay 2X MSRP for a 'clean' Galvatron.

 

probably something closer to this. love the realistic scorpion head but i'll admit its very different from the show head in both shape and positioning, sitting higher up and being far less flat. still though, i'll get it because its the best scorpion alt mode we've ever gotten.

Heaven forbid a character just exist as a toy, luckily the WFC trilogy has been full of important characters that all definitely did something memorable. Characters like Doubledealer, Crosshairs, Soundblaster, Refraktor, Sixgun, Brunt...

 

Yep precisely... however, knowing this I grieve, as I can take or leave the Ark, but would LOVE to have that Teletran-1!

 

Ark is really good! Instead of being able to transform to bot mode, perhaps it would be better if they made an interior space for mini bots.

 

A walrus/scorpion fuzor would be hardcore, though.

 

Haha, well scorpions don't have really have heads like mammals or insects do. BW Scorponok was a very inaccurate scorpion in the show and toy to begin with. Kingdom is so much better. Finally

I find it funny how being Teletraan-1 is probably Mainframe's most memorable role ever since his toy.

And yes, Teletran-1 already has a robot mode. So let the Ark be...the Ark. With a base mode. I mean another Titan-sized robot is cool BUT Hasbro also said that they wouldn't shoehorn any gimmicks into characters in the WfC trilogy that don't need them.
