Kind of weird that the Ark has battle damage all over his shoulders and nowhere else.

 

That's what I meant, a short Deluxe. Shorter than both Tarantulas and especially Terrorsaur.

 

Was hoping the Ark would have had Omega Supreme\'s face but I guess will have to settle for Eugene Levy.

 

Ok. I\'m not thrilled with Galvatron\'s cannon mode, but I\'m still getting him. I have only ever bought (and kept) one Titan before, but I\'m getting the Ark. Having the delux bot transform into Teletraan One is just icing on the cake. 

I never really watched Beast Wars, so I don\'t get why there\'s a bug in Scorponok\'s claw, and I don\'t plan on buying him, but I\'m glad others are getting these guys.

I assume they're reentry burns for ship mode that carry over to robot mode, vs. him being a robot who only got injured on his shoulders.

Already posted my thoughts on Galvatron where he leaked, only thing I can add to him is that he looks better in the in-hand pictures when he's not in fish-eye lens mode. As for the other two.

-Ark actually looks better than I thought he would be! Wasn't a fan of the character choice, but the robot mode looks cool, and I'm VERY interested to see how they'll do the playset mode and integrate it to the other two modes. Will maybe get him, depending on how funds are. Plus, after Scorponok, I'd like to have a Titan with fingers again. Speaking of which...

-Scorponok was the Wave 3 figure I was the most interested in seeing, considering how his previous figure looked nothing like him (due to show-accuracy not being the prime concern of the early Beast Wars toys), and his only update was a convention exclusive... which was of his Cybertronian form. Now that we finally get to see it... eh? Like, he looks the part, and includes the Cyberbee, but on the other hand, that back kibble... and the robot mode face seems kind of elongated. Though maybe it's due to the photographer putting him in action poses, so I can't gauge how the robot mode looks on its own proportionally. Scorpion mode looks like it's where the budget went... so it's like a reverse Blackarachnia in a sense. Instead of making a rail-thin robot mode and having the beast mode suffer for it, it's a rail-thin beast mode where the robot suffers. I need to see more pictures before I can fully form an opinion on him.

Oh, and his beast mode head is absolutely horrifying.

 

Why not? The original wasn’t a deluxe.

Teletraan with the mainframe head sculpt sold me.  

Having said that, I like to think more Goldblum than Levy.

 

Seems weird that Teletraan can transform if there's no interior mode. Plus, from the way it looks, the transformation seems... simple? As if they focused on getting the play features in rather than the transformation.

 

In the show's scale he was.

 

I guarantee you teletraan is out of scale with the ark and scales more for say ER prime and them so ark mode integration is gonna be different than just setting him inside

 

Scorponok looks great but ewwwww   probably won’t pick him up, but not out of any dislike of the toy or anything.

The Ark looks cool!

 

Looking forward to the Sandstorm and Double Punch repaints.

Scorponok, Waspinator (Buzz Saw and the Waruder Mechs, Skywasp, Bug Bite), and Terrorsaur (Lazorbeak, Fractyl, Terranotron, Strafe, Garboyl...) have a lot of repaint options between them. ....I'd totally army build them.

 

I don't know if you've noticed, but they're not really paying attention to anything the original toys did and are focusing on these characters' on-screen appearances for the last few years now.

 

yeah, now that they have done the ark, I sort of want the nemesis . however I do like the idea of the Nemesis ship being used to make Trypticon. Makes sense if watching that Japanese exclusive episode that shows trypticon coming out of the water ( scramble city ep ).

 

Oh and if Hasbro is listening, this new Galvatron's mold could possibly make a better Straxus than Galvatron.
