Hasbro keeps one-upping themselves when it comes to these Titan class figures! It would be a shame if they stopped after this one.

The Ark’s robot mode reminds me of Armada Tidal Wave. Both have a pronounced chin and have turrets by their upper-chests.

 

The Ark's robot mode is clearly the Last Autobot from #79 and #80 of the original Marvel run. That's a nice, deep cut.

I think Hasbro absolutely could have done a better job with the Ark, the massive gaping HOLES on the sides where the legs fold in easily could have been covered with some flaps, it isn't like they haven't done that trick a billion times, but beyond that everything else looks amazeballs.

This is going to be an expensive year...

More than likely it's moreover a reference to The Last Autobot, since the OG Autobot face is actually Prowl.

I am surprised at how much I like the bot mode of the ARK. That was nice surprise. Verdict is pending for me on Galvatron after seeing the size comparisons.

Beast Wars Megatron is going to put his consciousness inside the Ark and take it over, forcibly ejecting its spark and ruling over Prehistoric Earth as a god.

 

Those hollow sides are really bad on the Ark and need some gap fillers. Appreciate that Teletraan-1’s botmode is Mainframe, though!

Scorponok looks cool, a bit too bad his chest looks so square thanks to the detailing. And yup, looks like Galvatron’s shoulders are misassembled, the render shows them sitting higher without the globes being rotated.

 

I can't wait for him to transform offscreen and appear for 12 minutes in the Netflix show thanks to the shows reduced budget.
