Meh. Like not-Thundercracker, they look cheap with that kind of deco... and won't fit anymore with the realistically-painted Thrust, Dirge and Ramjet.

 

If Traitor comes with Dr. Evil does he also come with Mr. Bigglesworth?

I may go the full iGear way seeing as Takaratomy is giving the MP SEEKERS the MP-10 Prime treatment. AKA New seekers.


QUESTION: WIll the iGear OG Seekers have the two faces feature?

 

There was no comparison before with the not-coneheads but these guys really show the difference between the original. Sucks if you missed out on them initilly but the original price of the MP's were cheaper then this. If Takara reissues the seekers after igears does how many people would they be sticking it to?

 

The only thing I'm hoping for is that iGear will release parts that'll allow those of us with official seekers to do the kibble mod. The mold looks so much better without that crap hanging from the waist. Damn, I still haven't bitten on their Conehead releases.

 

Don't count on it, such a kit would have to include everything from the waist down.

I can not see Takara re-releasing these Seekers because of the fact that they will be releasing newly designed MP Seekers.

 

IGear stepping up their releases, probably heard what's coming...

 

When was it announced TakaraTomy was giving us new seekers?

 

Question is how long till igear release the Newly planned takar updated seekers?

 

It's slightly disappointing that Starscream isn't the same grey as the original toy or the Henkei version but the 3 originals all match nicely and have the mod which removes the issue that always put me off the official ones so I'll be buying all 3 and possibly Sunstorm as well.

 

Easy pass on these. It's easier to do the hip kibble mod yourself and save the $100 x3 figures.

 

I don't know how it would be carried out, but I remember Superquad7 suggesting it a week or two back when their Thundercracker was first revealed.

But I could just mod them myself. Thing is, I'm more apprehensive about modding high-end figures such as Masterpiece because of all the money invested in them. If I fuck up, it's not like I can easily find a replacement at retail...like a deluxe or voyager that's plentiful. I'd be out at least $100 on each one. It is a simple mod from what I've read, but I haven't looked into it in years.

With their Thundercracker I completed the original six pack.... but I can't resist, I'll have these two too  

 

no way could just replace the lower legs only a case of removing a few screws!

 

thats exactly it! the same happened with the prime mold! they pushed loads out before the new mp prime mold was announced
