QC's extremely dodgy, though. It looks pretty (which is why I'm keeping mine), but it doesn't hold together (which is why I'm still salty that it cost so much).

They need to make this set again. NO ONE is selling them right now. I need 3 more to make my Ark set bigger.

I have it and I love it.

Negative first....The set does not hold together at all and will not be straight when assembled. The stickers do not hold.

Positives.. After a warm soapy bath and a dry down, I crazy glued the piece together. One tiny dab on each connector port. This somehow got rid of 100% of the warping. You have take a level to the set and it will be, well, level. My set now is one solid piece of orange Ark and I LOVE IT. Keep in mind this is the closest I ever got to kitbashing/radiconning or whatever you call it so if I did it with zero problems EVERYONE CAN.

The set is probably more sought after now than during its release. This means/meant that stores had to discount the set to get rid of it. This in turn did two things: 1. we lost the Decepticon set and 2: any chance of getting this set reissued.

I asked an insider about this set and the Decepticon set and word was that iGear left it in the past and will not be returning to it. This is a true shame because it was a great 3rd party item that came with too much expectations and too little tolerence to the shortcomings...like really people, all it needed was some glue lol.

 

I think it looks pretty cool, and I've been thinking about getting it. But I've spent quite a bit on TF items lately, so I probably should hold off. The set does look pretty cool though.

I wanted to get this set, but only after the decepticon set came out. It never did so I never picked it up.

 

You could try printing out the paper one and using that as a background removing the sides and using them to extend the width.

I did actually buy one but I left it in the box as I had no decent place to put it as it was taller than all my shelves.

So I'll probably print out the card one on paper and glue it to plasticard then use that as shelf liners.

 

They need to just release the Teletran-1 console and the repair bed by themselves, and then sell packs of the wall and floor panels instead of doing everything in a single expensive set.

 

Mine's for sale! Never fully assembled, just had a look at the parts and put a few together to see how it works.

I was going to buy this at full price but the shipping was just too much.

This set sat on bbts for 3 months last year marked down to $90, now it's $400. Something told me to buy more then, but I was crying about space. Anyway, the word is out that there's money in this set. Expect a KO in 3 different colors next year.

 

Wow that is a crazy price. It is stunning what an investment Transformers stuff can be.

 

I would welcome a knock off. iGear has dropped the project completely and I still want my purple panels.

I would totally buy more orange panels as well, I can skip on the accessories because I already have a set.

$400??? You have to be kidding me, wasn;t there one for sale for like $71? or is this the same auction and it jumped in price??? I had no clue the set was worth so much.

 

I got the set in my POL back in April... haven't had time to open and set it up... so I had been thinking if I hadn't used it yet I should maybe sell it. No idea it could go that high! Probably an abnormally high ebay price, but even a bit lower than $400 I guess I should look into selling it.
