Guzzle is likely also going to be a modified Warpath.

Hound makes the most sense for Ironfist.

    Pyro is Inferno, of course.

Rotorstorm will likely be the Tomahawk mold.

    Scoop from Cybertron landmine?

Top Spin and Twin Twist are the most problematic ones. They'd have to be new molds, none of the recent molds really suit them.

I don't care if these guys are stealing the ideas. This thing looks awesome. Hasbro doesn't seem to have the balls to do the ENTIRE Last Stand of the Wreckers crew. Yes we are getting that dinky little Legends Plus Guzzle, I'm aware of that. I want them to be done right. And iGear just might do them right.

If iGear pulls this off then they can have my money.

Miss a day, Miss a lot.

Ummmm what "too much benefit of the doubt" is the community giving 3rd parties? These things get reviewed just like the official stuff and if people like it they buy it. With the much higher price tags I don't think the bulk of 3rd party sales are coming from blind buys.

And for once being only 10% of Hasbros sales and not worth catering too has worked in our favor. Taking the official stuff for granted by our community wouldn't matter. We do not control Hasbro products with our words. We speak to Hasbro through our wallets and we are all still buying a boat load of official items.

If we are 10% of Hasbro sales and 3rd party hardcores are about 10% of that...I really don't think 1% of Hasbros bottom line is going to effect anything.

I stop looking at transformers for a couple of months and everything goes crazy! I just can't afford to care about this as much as I do!

Actually, I'm pretty sure that names are where there's the most trouble.

People have gotten hit for 100% original IP, because it happened to have a similar name to another property.

That's not how the "Autobot" prefix works.

If someone owned the trademark to "Jazz" for toys, then Hasbro would have a hard time trademarking anything that contained the word "Jazz" in it. Otherwise, by that logic, Bandai could trademark "Megazord Optimus Prime", and Mattel "Pretty Pink Princess Megatron" without impunity.

The prefixes are used to strengthen their claim to names that are otherwise too generic to claim otherwise. They still have to confirm that there's no other active trademarks with similar names before the prefix thing will work.

No it isn't fan made. Whe're you getting that info from? It's been used in official capacity for years since 3H used it as an offical logo in their Wreckers/Universe convention comics in 2001.

Just to clarify a point, this is not a remold or modified Warpath. Although the transformation is somewhat based on Warpath, all of the figure, limbs, torso and head are 100% original and designed from scratch.

I am loving this thing, i cannot tell you how quickly it went on my wishlist for the holiday season (though if i have the $ and it comes out sometime in october, i may just order it myself). Seriously, rip off of Warpath or not, i am all over this.
