Well sweet, I just got e-mail saying that TFSource has shipped my order! So hopefully I should get Ramjet this weekend. I can't wait!

 

Jet is beautiful, I'm starting to regret pre-ordering Elegy instead of Jet. But, someday, after I've paid off some bills, and saved some money up, I hope to get Jet to go with Elegy. And someday after that, maybe even get Attack as well.

Love the pics and review Payton34..... I am currently waiting for mine to arrive. Mine shipped from Singapore on the 28th. My package may arrive while I am gone to Hawaii for the next two weeks starting next week. I'd like to have it this week, but I can patiently wait for when I get back home.

Must be a custom. Sunstorm's not out yet, and Payton here surely would've given us the heads up if he got it.

Oh man.... this thing is sweet. I'm glad. And relieved. Now I need to get some money to buy these damn coneheads lol. Like others I was hoping they would suck so I wouldn't have to buy them. Lol.

Very nice! And the more I see the Seekers with the hip kibble leg mod, the more I want to try to do it on my own MP Seekers. XD And is that the scaled down Megatron gun (that came as an accessory with PP-01 Faith Leader) that Screamer's rocking? Looks good; I should know since my Screamer is rocking it too, heh.

Not-Ramjet looks pretty decent. Glad to hear the quality is great and the mold has no QC issues. I was a bit iffy on the plastic material being a bit thin and light as it is on PP-01; not too much of a knock on Faith Leader (and in before knock off jokes, lol) since he's an awesome figure but he's noticeably lighter in hand than the Seeker mold.

How does Not-Ramjet feel weight-wise in comparison to the original Seekers? And can the thrust vector nozzles making up the heels of his feet be made flush against the ground to support him like the originals? Or do the fins kind of do all the work supporting the weight?

I do agree that Not-Ramjet could benefit from a wash to bring out more details in the molded panels like Starscream. As is, he looks a bit too clean and blindingly white. And I'd be worried posing those figures so close to the edge of a table. Don't want any accidents, after all! DX

Sadly my work computer blocks most everything on me so I'll just take your word for it. 

Now I just need to decide whether to preorder the set of three plus Sunstorm from TFSource or to wait until reviews for them come out when they're released.


edit: Does anyone know if you can preorder at TFSource using Paypal? After hearing about their credit card issues last year I'm leery about giving them my card number.

 

Pretty sure, if you want to use paypal, you have to pay up front.

 

Ah well, guess I'll hafta wait and see if they're still available later on then.

 

Got mine today, very awesome figure.

I'm really satisfied with the QC except for the display stand/arm connection wich is way too tight but that's just a very minor problem.

If the two others come out this nice, I'll be VERY happy.  

 

I can't use the tail planes as leg supports on a MP Jet as the way they attach on all of mine is not a tight enough fit to allow it they just fall off so they have to stay on the hips.

Which along with the terrible faces and pin heads is why I'm not a big fan of the official moulds - but that said Ramjet does look like an improvment with more stable transformation and a nicer face.

Customs fees are a concern though I don't really want to pay 20%+ extra over retail price on them in VAT & Clearance fees.
