Nice!!! The price is a bit too steep for me. I wish the price would be lower so I can get my hands all three of them.

Damn, I was kinda hoping these would kind of suck because I don't know if I'll be able to afford them and REALLY want them (selfish, I know). But I really am glad that these seem to have turned out well.

    Thanks for the review, Payton.

I was hoping they would suck too, because now I have to spend a boat load for all three!

What is really weird is that iGear seems to have jacked up the price on their website. I remember they had a 3 pack for cheaper than TF Source (if you purchased 2-three packs), but now they have the three packs for $400 if you order two sets

These look faboulous, these are my favorite seekers but unfortunately I cannot pay that kind of price for them. $300-400 is quite a leap for me, that's a car note in my book.... (sigh) only wish... The OP needs to post clearer pictures but overall a great review on them...

They jacked up the price but now offer "free shipping", but it still ends up being the same price overall, so it's a bit of a bait and switch.

I noticed the other two are up for pre-order for the 15th. I'll be leaving for a family reunion on that date. Will be back in two weeks and I hope I can purchase the other two when I get back home.
Don't want to miss out on these when the price is low. I say low cause they only go higher from here on out.

    Comment on the paint job.
I don't mind it being pure white like it is. I think they were intending it to represent the G1 toy.

    Very cool!

    I will own these.

I very much doubt we will see a hasbro/takara release anytime soon.

I love the fixes made to the MP mold.

    Good job iGear

For easy/quick weathering, you can use a pigma micron brush pen, ink over the lines, then use a napkin to wipe off the excess. Instant weathering.

Glad I got my pre-orders in. Coneheads + Sunstorm.

    Also waiting on FP Not-insecticon/ninjas.

...and TFClub's Hercules. Gonna be an expensive second half of the year. But the display is going to be amazing!

Ooooo, forgot about Sunstorm! Need to add him to my list.

I had all three Coneheads on preorder as well, but $400 was much and seeing how MP Ramjet came first, well...................the other two will come eventually.

    It looks really nice.

I haven't messed around with the MP seeker mold too much and I can't really check at the moment (@ work), but how easy would it be to take the legs apart and fill the hollow spaces with hardening putty to help with the balancing issues? I did read your follow-up on that wing segment, but my question is more in general.

It shouldn't be that hard at all, the only trick will be not to put too much in there so it doesn't get in the way of transformation (when the upper legs slide downward).

Here are more comparison shots, as well as a close-up of the face that was requested earlier.

Is that an optical illusion, or is Ramjet taller than Starscream? Either way, he look's damn good and I can't wait to get mine.
Also, how articulated is his head?

It's just the angle of the picture, they're both the same size. The head is on a ball joint, that's pretty much it.

Cool, thanks! Glad they kept the sizes the same..................it adds to the collection when you can have all the seekers the same size.
