We don't buy it because it is a full flung rip off of takaras engineering! I dont mind unique molds or addons but this is just a knock off. A well made knock off.

Looks cool but yeah Igear is pushing things to the limits. Company's like Igear are going to force Hasbro's hand and mess it up for every one.

I wish they would stop showing future project and just give us some useful information. Like release date, price, where I can order.

Can't answer your other question because my Faith was a gift. The quality is flawless...except for the shoulders. They are just slightly loose and can't hold extreme positions. I suspect this is merely because the MP Prime joints aren't as efficient shrunk down like that. It doesn't bother me terribly because the original OP toy wasn't exactly known for shoulder articulation either. (Can't compare it to the actual MP because I don't have it).

The paint on the body is exceptional (by all accounts better than the MP). The alternate head on mine has a very slight flaw in the silver head-crest paint, but it cannot be seen except up close (so I still prefer the alternate head, it's more unique).

Only other "issue" is that the chest doors are a really tight fit when I'm transforming him, but I can always get it back to looking right.

Pretty. There's something off about him, though, moreso than the other two.

I'm tempted, especially in the case of Elegy, but I'll wait and see the reviews.

    My two cents:
I'm not positive Has/Tak WILL make official versions of these guys. It requires molding new parts (unique ones for each). At this point, the only reason we're getting Hasbro Skywarp, MP Thundercracker, Sleep Prime, Black Convoy, etc. is because the overhead of recycling an old mold completely, accessories and all, is negligible compared to anything that requires new parts or engineering. It's a cash-in, and I don't mean that in a bad way. It's been that way since the G1 Seekers.

ESPECIALLY if the handful of seeker completists/Conehead fans out there have already been placated by these releases, I just can't see this being lucrative for Has/Tak.

That all said, I wanted Wheeljack's ever since he made them, and now I MIGHT GET TO HAVE THEM. I do hope they stagger the releases for affordability. Also, if releases are staggered, it will show a lot more confidence in the QC.

I dont mind these if they are decent quality. I still hope Tak ends up making them as well.

I disagree. I would hope that the final version has a much better looking cone head.

This still strikes me as off every time i hear it. A small company can produce these items but Tak can't? Ok then...

I can probably help with the other part of the question. My girl didn't buy me mine. Anguirus' pimp hand must be stronger than mine :D

I have Faith and Nemesis and both are awesome. Maybe I lucked out because the joints are pretty good on both. The paint apps are probably the best part of these guys.

My preorders weren't actually processed until my items shipped & you're buying with Paypal; so canceling is however easy it is to cancel a pending Paypal transaction.

    Not too shabby.
I don't have an MP seeker, so I don't know the mold... how did they dodge the hip kibble?

The other PP (iGear Partner Products) figures are all miniature-sized versions of the corresponding MP figure. They reduced the Masterpiece Prime to be the same scale as the Classics/Henkei series. They only base the figure/transformation/pieces on those of the larger MP mold, but the size of each corresponding piece is reduced in scale from MP to Classics/Henkei. Does this mean that these too are going to be Classics/Henkei scale? I presume they will be, but I hope not. I would buy all three right now if they were available. I would have bought them if Hasbro/Takara had made them first, and I would have ordered them from WheelJack himself if he had made a larger run of his custom versions (which were totally sweet BTW).

They're the same exact size as the official Seekers. They just shrunk Prime (and will with Megs) to match the size of the Seekers and Grimlock.

They left it attached to the legs. Looks like they might have shortened the ends a bit so that he could stand with them attached, or just set him in a wider stance.

It's one of the biggest complaints about the MP Seeker mold, is that there is NO REASON for the hip kibble: It could simply have been left on the leg, and it would have been perfectly fine, and possibly even more balanced, and definitely better heel support (Tailfins could have acted as supplementary heel support). Where they are now they just hinder articulation and make transformation more fiddly and annoying. It's no surprise iGear took the opportunity to tweak that.

Yeah, the hip kibble is crap. But the freaking designer said "he wanted it to look like the seekers had swords", if I remember the line correctly. He should have kept that vision to himself, you know? No one wanted "swords".

I LOVE the way the hip fins look. But I wouldn't have missed it if they'd been on the legs as expected, and the figures would have balanced better.

But I'm happy they are the way they are.
