I really like it.

 

While the first thing I noticed was that the arms/hands were too skinny, overall my gut reaction was "holy crap that looks awesome" - and this is from someone really burnt out on the seekers.

I can't do the troop building shit anymore with repaints (I just don't have the room). I grabbed Thundercracker from the IT tetrajets, so might just grab Skywarp from this.

I think I liked the design more before I saw the original art... the toy is just lacking so much in terms of the proportions and dynamic appeal they are meant to have. Still, I'll give it time and keep an eye on things, they may grow on me more in the future. I have to give them credit for a really nice F-22 mode, at least.

I like the overall concept. Not a big fan of the jnco robit jeans, the teeny arms, and animated seeker face. But I can look past the first two if that face gets resculpted. I like for 'Screamer to look somewhat serious. Not like a smarmy used car salesman. Again the overall concept is pretty awesome. Now I wonder what size class these are comparable to?

 

Arms are not doing it for me, but overall, this is somewhat appealing.

From the prior thread, I again suggest MW Meggy/Megaplex/BW Thurst/G2 Hooligan tooling and deco variants. I'm OK with our F15 boys getting F22 upgrades, but I'd be EXCITED to see the F22 chaps get a proper toy.

 

Does anyone think these will be reasonably priced, or are they going to charge $100+ for each repaint? It'd be swell if these came in at around $75 apiece.

 

Nice, but I don't think it's for me. Never got into IDW's series. And the head is not quite right.

The arms do seem to be really thin in comparison to the overall figure, but I think I can get pass that...

 

Looked at the IDW art again. If the feet were bigger, I think that would help tremendously.

They better be if they want us to buy 3+

 

Oh also, I wouldn't recommend anyone preordering this, or you'll end up getting it a month later than everyone else, then find out Starscream is actually kinda yellow with no highlights, Thundercrack will be seafoam green, and Skywarp will actually be a medium gray color.

The forearms look alright, but the skinny biceps resemble PE motobot.

 

Alt mode looks awesome. Bot mode is interesting. I think the wings may be a bit too long and thin to match the artwork. Maybe iGear can compress them a little. The head sculpt is strange; it definitely gives off a TFA Starscream vibe what with the exaggerated smirk and huge Jay Leno chin. His nipples also look very angry, lol.

Still, I'm liking the look of this very much and I'd be game for a trio of F-22 Raptor Seekers. But dammit, iGear, give us Presser already!
