I voted yes. I didn’t want to spend the money on 44, so, a reasonably priced MP10 could fill an OP sized hole on the MP shelf just fine.

Yes. I'm not impressed by the look or price of MP44 at all. MP10 is still my MP Prime, and will be for the foreseeable future.

Hardly comparable because there were what, 10 years between releases? It's like asking if you'd buy G1 Optimus knowing Classics was coming.

    Yes, happy to own both.
They're made with a completely different design philosophy and there's room in my collection for both.

MP44 has a vastly superior trailer and vehicle mode though, so with MP10 being perpetually displayed in robot mode, his huge box with trailer are a big waste of space now.

I'm not really a big fan of G1 cartoon accurate to the "T" on my toys.

For me MP-10 aesthetically looks better in robot.

If money wasn't a thing, of course I'd buy MP-44 and would be happy to own both, but I'm fine with my MP-10.

MP-44 all the way, ridiculous money but in my opinion he is the definitive MP G1 Optimus Prime. I’m fortunate money wasn’t an issue at the time.

I own the Nemesis version of MP-10 and he just feels boring if that makes sense? There’s just not as much going on trailer included compared to the package of Convoy 3.0.

Gotta agree here. I think it's his face plate that makes his face look way longer than it should be.

I have MP-10 and would gladly chose that or magic square Light of Freedom figure over MP-44 any day of the week.

How fitting that I just watched Emgo's review of MP-44. If overdoing were a toy, it's him.

Yes. Mp10 is my definitive prime. I don't like the uber toon look, i like the blending with rivets and little details that mp10 has. Also it seems a lot sturdier, with no parts exploding on tiny hinges.

I like Mp-10, he’s the man for every job. He can look good on a shelf, he can haul the kids’ Hot Wheels across the floor. I might get 44 eventually, but 10 is loved by the whole family.

You couldn't pay me to fuckin' hold an MP-44.

Unless we're talking about the WWII machine pistol. Especially if I get to use it on MP-44.

MP-10 was affordable and is a great Optimus Prime. I know why they did MP-44. But no, too expensive for me. Just isn't worth 2-3 times the money of MP-10.

I would not have bought MP-10, nor any of the non-+ original MP releases. I like toon accuracy for my MPs.

If I could've seen 10 years into the future back in 2010, I probably would've quit collecting full stop. Maybe by now I'd have renovated my kitchen.

Tough question. MP 10 is one of my fave MPs and ushered my interest in the line. But if I knew he was going to be replaced wih what I consider to be a superior product, I probably would not have bought him.

But then I probably would not have bothered with the line at all, and that would have been a shame.

I am more interested in definitive versions of MPs rather than updates.

Ten years? That's a bit exaggerated, isn't it? Six or seven, perhaps. I'm not sure when the first Takara MP10 was released, but even then I wasn't interested until the Hasbro, cartoon styled version came out. Which I always thought was around 2012.

Fir me, I love the look of MP10B...but not the MP44 Black Convoy version. And I'm opposite with the Primes. I'll never sell MP10B.
