if you had to pick two Transformers from from both sides (2 Autobots, 2 Decepticon) of which one HAD to be in the sequel that wasnt in the first movie, who would you pick, and what would their alt. modes be? For me: Hound as a Jeep Wrangler for the Autobots [http://www.wkjeeps.com/photos/65th_Jeep_models_05.jpg] or Prowl as a Cop car (best one i could find) [http://www.dkimages.com/discover/previews/768/34630.JPG] and for Decepticons Shockwave as a submarine of some sort http://image40.webshots.com/41/4/94/29/2007494290090123829tsaoeo_fs.jpg or Soundwave with a minion or two, though i dunno what they should turn into
Well for me personally, I would rather new characters, especially for the Decepticons. And if they are going to kill any of them off (for example as they did Jazz), then I would prefer new Autobot characters as well. Although if they will be treated ok, then I wouldn't mind some of the originals in there (sorry I can't really pick two). Alt modes I am not fussed about.
As far as Autobots go... I'd like to see Arcee with the design she was already given. And I'd like to see Hot Rod/Rodimus in the movie with a Ford GT alt mode. As for Decepticons... I'd like Rumble or Ravage (or both) with motorcycle alt modes. Rumble could be a nice Harley while Ravage is a Kawasaki Ninja (used to have on so I'm kind of partial to them)... and wouldn't it be cool to watch Ravage tearing down the street after a human and than right when he catches them he transformes into a jaguar-ish looking robot and pounces on them? Sounds cool to me! I'd also like to see Soundwave with some kind of experimental military tank that uses sound weapons or laser weapons or something... could be something designed with Transformers tech that the military has been granted by the Autobots.

Autobots: Prowl Wheeljack Decepticons: Ravage Soundwave Not picky about their altmodes. If these guys make it in the movie I'll be happy.
im gonna go the easy route here and go with the movie toy line Autobots: Landmine (with a different head sculpt though) Arcee (more g1 colours though, like the wonderfest one) Decepticons: Wreckage (he looks like a cool ninja) Stockade (he just looks bad ass.....and I love escalades lol)
Prowl- Dodge Charger Police Cruiser. (I know that's impossible since GM is probably still on board for the sequels, but I can wish) Grimlock- Love to see tha T-Rex mode on the big screen, but I'd be perfectly happy with a tank or some other bigass miltary vehicle. Shockwave- I liked the Apache design from the game. Or even a battleship. Skywarp- Any kind of jet. Aerial support for Starscream.

Agreed on Prowl, but I think he should be almost exactly like the new cartoon. I'm also still thinking Mirage for his depth of character which would translate well into film. If they could get the eloquent Christopher Lee to voice him that would be tremendous. As for the Decepticons, I don't know. Soundwave and Shockwave are always the obvious choices - almost too obvious to be that interesting. I'd like to see them pull off someone like Sixshot or Bludgeon. They are cult favorites with loads of story potential.
I would prefer more than 4 new Transformers in Transformers 2 (2009). But a more in depth story less focus on fleshlings in general, would do well with only several Transformers. Autobots 1. Prowl (He changed my view police cars.) 2. Red Alert (Did not Michael Bay say anything about a "geriatric bot"?) Decepticons 1. Soundwave 2. Aircraft Carrier Transformer (Tidal Wave)
Soundwave and Shockwave (no idea for alts) Grimlock (T-rex... Got me on how/why) and Kup (slightly dinged up OLD pickup)
I definitely want Prowl in there, and Hot Rod as well, but only in his "1st Treatment" incarnation. he was totally sweet there. and for cons I'd definitely have to say Blitzwing and Soundwave.
