If you could remove any one thing from all Transformers toys, what would it be?

    Seconded!

As much as I love how good it looks it just does not last :(  *looks at BW Rampage* :cry

Same with the paint they use on the Bineltech toys, it looks so good but it just chips so easily

Combiners....lack of keeping together. I have a G2 Devastator and the top half won't keep on the bottom half without leaning forward. For future referance combiners should have like 4 ways of locking to keep them stable.

As I was reading these responses, I was looking around at my collection. I don't think I'd want to remove anything. In all the years I've been collecting, I've found that no matter what the Transformer (item) is like, there's a fan somewhere that loves it. What kind of a person would I be to remove someone's happiness? Some fans will always complain, but that's cool too. If I could do magic, I'd tighten up some of the redecos e.g. I can't get Flash Lio Convoy to stand right as a lion.

Thier heads. This way the super Go-Bots from the 80's wouldn't seem so bad.

    Missiles with hair triggers.

I'm not big on the missiles themselves, but they're not too bad. But the hair triggers are just terrible. I got Cybertron Downshift on Saturday... I've almost lost one of his missiles at least four times already.

The electronics, especially the sound effects ones. There are a lot of Transformers out there that could have been so much better without having to a big lump of themselves used up with batteries and speakers. Like Vector Prime and Energon Optimus Prime, for example, so much wasted oppurtunity....

Toothy grins... The sculpted snarls that plagued Beastwars characters put me off ever collecting the figures, they don't look menacing, they dont add character, they just make the figure look like they've got gas.

I'm going to go with line wide gimmicks. All too often figures that could have been great, end up suffereing for a gimmick that just doesn't compliment the figure's design. One of the things that G1 got right, even after the movie, was sub group gimmicks. (headmasters, triple changers, pretenders, etc....)

I'm not big on the spring loaded weapons, either. They usually end up being too big for the bot, especially for the smaller figures. It tends to make them look rather silly.

While things like missles, electronics, goofy faces, intrusive gimmicks, etc... bug the crap out of me, exclusives bug me the most. I'd do away with them.
