If you could remove any one thing from all Transformers toys, what would it be?

All of us have little things that bug us about the toys we collect. If you could eliminate one thing from all future toy releases, what would it be?

My pick is missles. I hate the stupid things. I don't like firing them, I don't like keeping track of them, and half the time they just stick out of the gun in a way that looks ridiculous.

Runner up: Translucent plastic. With the exception of windshields and windows, clear plastic always looks ugly and bizzare to me. This goes double when it's completely pointless, such as Battle Ravage's weapons.

I'd rather remove the Armada Sideswipe mold from existence.

Gimicks such as planet keys. I would keep the minicons but not make them essential to the robot having all of its functions. Just put on a button and let it go.

I would remove all the gimmicky stuff. Flip out weapons and all are good, but I don't think you should need a key or a small robot to do it. I button would work just fine and it would be less to keep up with.

Accessories that don't attach to the toys. I want a place to put the key when I don't want a weapon unlocked.

I have to disagree about clear plastic. I love the clear wheels on Velocitron toys. I'm looking at my Magne Microman right now, and the clear orange looks great on the gold and white.

Line/faction-wide gimmicks. G1 did it right in this regard; a few triplechangers, a few combiners, etc, but the vast majority of figures were just regular, two-mode shmoes.

Gimmicks...I did not like the minicon idea as it was used. I would have rather then just be a 3rd faction...not little things that are needed to transform/unlock special parts of the larger tf. I also feel this way about the cyber planet keys....Transformers themselves are gimmicks! They dont need an aditional one...imo.

I agree with this as well. A few gimmicky robots thrown in is cool, however series wide ones get annoying.

The gimmicks that overuse the total area of the transformer. Oversized Force chip gags that take up nearly an entire basic toy are...annoying and lackluster.

Hey! Took the words out of my mouth! ;)  But I'm neutral with the use of "clear" plastics...if used properly, it can enhance the look of the toy.

    And stickers.

You just have to look at the G1 market to agree. :)  They're either of two things, or both:

    1. Peeling or missing.
    2. Put on totally wrong by people with no motor skills at all. :D

Forgot about those. I downright HATE stickers and wish they were totally removed from ALL toylines.

I guess i'm one of the few who like Force Chips and Microns.
