Remember G1 "Only Human"?

I thought, if I could give the bots a familiar human face, who would that be?

Here's my first proposal:

Megatron's face would be Ricardo Montalban, in hairstyle of ST:II WOK.



Starscream would be Jack Coleman from Heroes and Dynasty, with his 80's hairstyle and appearance of Dynasty.


Who would you pick?

 

Megatron would be Frank Welker with some makeup effects.

 

That would be epic.

You know, for some reason I would see Starscream as like Joaquin Phoenix, but when he was creepy looking in Gladiator. Without the incest.

 

do they have to be strictly real people? Cos I think Ichimaru Gin would make a great Starscream

 

While keeping their original voices:

Megatron / Galvatron = Graham Chapman (he had such great grimaces)

Starscream = David Duchovny

Shockwave = Ben Stein with an eyepatch (ok ... they could maybe use Stein's voice)

Optimus Prime = Isaac Hayes

Omega Supreme = Ben Stiller (who else could say that "I will speak again" line from HMW with a straight face?)

Wheelie = the kid who was in those Home Alone movies  

 

Would be great, if they have to be real people, who's facial appearance resembles a bit like the cartoon character. Like the manga character you proposed, I know nothing about him.

Isaac Hayes as Prime? Hmm, I thought of a white elder actor with a white beard...
Ben Stein - I thought of a somewhat younger actor.

 

Shockwave would be none other than David Warner, whom Corey Burton based the voice on in the first place.

 

Bruce Campell is Starscream. Thats the face I see.

 

I like the ideas of Ricardo Montalban as Megatron and Joaquin Phoenix as Starscream. Those fit quite nicely.  

As for me, I realized a couple years ago how much Luke and Owen Wilson looked like human versions of Sideswipe and Sunstreaker:

Doesn't really fit with what you're trying to do here, but I remember thinking the G1 Blurr toy (not the cartoon, the toy) looked like Tommy Smothers.
