if you can have any bot or con to be your guardian who will it be? and why?

mine will be soundwave! cause he is so cool and have all the minions to protect you too!

 

From any generation: Fortress Maximus.

From Movie Generation: Optimus Prime.

 

Jazz! Any of them in general cause they're all really cool and would be fun to hang around with  

 

Ironhide. He's one of my favorite badasses from the movies, and he's a guy you don't want to mess with.

 

Sentinel. If we're in a traffic jam, he'll yell 'I DISCHARGE YOU FROM DUTY' and melt all the cars.

G1 Jazz. Seems like the bot I'd have the most fun with while being absolutely assured of my safety, kicking it on Bourbon Street, soaking up some culture and music, with Blaster maybe in the backseat in tapedeck mode?

If a Con was my guardian (assumedly because I was helping the decepticon cause a la Mr Inappropriate)? Shockwave. Tough as nails and less likely to impulse kill me as he might find it illogical to kill me as it'd be a waste of energy.

Taking this question seriously, there's a lot of 'ifs', 'ands' and 'buts'. I mean, there's plenty of characters who I'd love to have as my "guardian" because I think they're cool... but then you factor in that their character could be a.) a douche, b.) evil, c.) far too giant and cumbersome, d.) far too small and weak or e.) anything else. Unless we're imagining this in some sort of magical land where Galvatron wouldn't vaporize you for looking at him or that Bayformers Brains would make a good guardian.

For actual "guardian-ness" and subtlety and "niceness"...

Bayverse Blackout

 

Franchise in general: G1 Ravage. Loyal, an awesome cat, he can go with me whereever (living in a city means that I basically would see a vehicle TF... roughly every week or so). Hell, with his stealth abilities he could hang out in jaguar mode, even.

Could even double up and go Binaltech Ravage... then he'd basically have a transtechtor that he could give me a ride around in when the need arises. (In case you don't know, Binaltech Ravage is basically BW-era Ravage's Spark in a new body, with G1-era Ravage in the tape deck).

 

I have to agree with Warpshard on having Fortress Maximus as my sidekick. Sure you don't have an awesome car to drive around and pick up chicks such as Hotrod's car mode, but you do get your own city. That can turn into a spaceship. That's pretty awesome. I suppose one could ride around within Gasket & Grommet as well.

 

Dibs on Optimus. Anytime I'm feeling down, he's got a awe-inspiring speech ready to roll. Cruise down the highways in a kickass fiery Peterbilt, why not? Be fun to learn about an alien culture from one of the prominent faction's leader.

And of course, he'll wreck any Decepticon's shit that tries to mess with us
