    Should peak around 10pm eastern and turn a nice ruddy reddish pink color.

    Just came back from the outside. It was ass freezing cold but worth the look.

    It's the last lunar eclipse until 2010.

    Oh it's also the Lantern Festival in China/Taiwan: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lantern_Festival

    Surprising how the Lantern Festival is about the full moon and today we get that and an eclipse.

    Dr. Ruth over at IUS has a cool series of pictures of a lunar eclipse over the IUS lobster claw (its a sculpture that looks like a giant lobster claw)
