It's always baffled me why Transformers don't have accessory packs to accentuate them on the shelf. I collect MP scale and it would be great to see them put out computer consoles, medical bays, power station pieces, road signs, floor and wall sections that could interlock, even LED screens with Bluetooth.
What accessories would you actually spend money on if Takara or Hasbro offered them?

I too would like a weapons kit. (especially since most of the MP car-bots can hold each other's weapons)

Personally, I find it hard to believe that selling each MP figure with a floor and wall panel (that can be connected) would cost Has/Tak more than a couple of cents more with each figure. If they're "Collector Grade" figure's, why not include a display stand for those who take them out of the box like the TOY BIZ Marvel figures?

maybe pack in a minicon or a targetmaster or something.
ooooh idea, do a wave of these weapon packs, each pack having one of the six guns that form Six-Gun

I have 5mm weapons to spare already. Where there are Generations figs that have their own in-built weapons (like CW Vortex and his wrist-missiles) I don't bother giving them their extra pea-shooters, so they become spares that can be picked up by more needy toys (like CW Dead End who would otherwise be charging into battle with a bit of lead pipe).

Generations Jhiaxus has been a bit of a windfall in that regard - two sub-machine guns that he himself has no use for. Jhiaxus gets others to fight for him, after all.

I'd be all for weapons and/or accessory packs. I'd love to see a huge set or several smaller sets that had extra weapons and a weapons rack, tools, maybe special items like a Matrix or the Relics from Prime/NuRID, and some larger pieces like a computer console or a medical table.

The one big problem is I don't know if a stand alone accessory only pack would sell enough to make it a viable in store release unless they made it a limited online only set maybe through HTS. The better way to release extra accessories is probably including them as bonus pack ins like 2-3 extra pieces per figure or a larger set like the recent NuRID Decepticon island TRU set with Steeljaw, BB, and extra stuff including a stasis chamber.

What about a points system like the old Kenner Star Wars figures and if you collect enough from various purchases, you qualify for a mail away accessories pack

Well, i think i got an idea for how the accessory packs should work.

Basically, make a basic-scout class figure that is a triple changer that turns into a weapon.
And include about 2-3 extra weapons with it. 1 large, and 2 short ones.

I would love accessory packs, I always wished they'd done that with the Energon line like Takara did with Superlink. I want 5mm compatible swords, rifles, pistols, sniper rifles, assault rifles, rocket launchers, maces, grenades, and whatever they can throw at me. Maybe pack them with a Legends or Basic (RIP) class figure? It would be especially cool if they brought back the Energon weapon gimmick, my collection is still being armed by those old accessories.

I'd love to have some extra 5mm pistols or something of that nature. I look at some of my CW/UW figures and feel they could use other choices in weaponry.(The Stunticon weapons always felt more like Melee weapons to me, despite having the additional peg... And admittedly, I've never been terribly fond of the Harrier mold's Flamethrower.)

HFG's work well with certain characters as a backup firearm, but I'm just more fond of something smaller and sleeker in general. Something in the same vein as UW-07 Blast Off's Ionic Blaster.

Wasn't Hasbro working on a kid's 3D printer? Seems like they could sell cartridges or micro-disks with the designs for accessories on them.

Oh? Did they also plan on including a "Make-your-own" accessory Option? That way, Hasbro would basically cover up any redeco they plan out with new, semi-official parts made by fans/other people.
