Hello, what if Trottlebots could combine in G1,will it be cool and answer to Contructicons with 6 member since Goldbug join in?
Will the combiner stronger than Devastator and equal to Stunticons Menasor?
Since Dinobot could not combine because they are dumb, what about Throttlebots who are smarter and more mature than the Dinobot?
I think they shall make to combine, what do you think?

    Thanks.

If the Throttlebots could combine they would combine to form your average full sized bot and Devi would still step on them.

And I'm sure the combined mode would still have flap out arms lol

The whirring sounds overlapping as they moved together would be maddening.

Yeah, you can already combine them. Not many collectors know this. Just flip the hoody part and bend in the arms.

Problem is, you just wind up with six feet. :(

Erm, no. But I would love to see a custom attempted.

As far as the strength and abilities of the Throttlebot combiner, I'd look to Landcross as an example. That is to say, not very.

now lets be fair, landcross was a fairly new team, albeit, a micromaster team that combined, but a fairly new team. power shouldnt be just measured in strength, but in ability as well.

    that said ....

it seemed in g1 the number of bots used determined the power along with the power of the bots as individuals. devastator was 6, which was a high number considering most other were 3-5. however the predacons were very strong individually, thusly when combined they were extremely strong. liokaiser was 6 and each bot was no push over. i wager liokaiser could beat predaking.

    ... hmm ...

Well I guess this is just about covered. The kinda ironic part is if they were made to combine they might have actually got better molds :lol

Is this another thread that the OP asks the question and then never returns to further discuss it?

The answer of course, for the topic, would be:

    It'd look like crap.

    That's fantastic! :lol

For a Throttlebot combiner, I can see Wideload as the main lower torso (in a Long Haul capacity) with Goldbug as the head/shoulders. In the G1 comics, I think they actually depicted Wideload as a bigger/bulkier bot than the others, so that would also help.

Shame the toys were such a crap design. Making them combine might have almost redeemed them!

Swoop, Snarl and Grimlock we're at least of moderate intelligence. Cartoon portrayals don't count for too much.

That aside, it's apparent the Throttlebots were build for speed. Whilst Goldbug was pretty strong, i have some doubts about the others.
