He would actually look like a brother con of Blackout. I wished Travis would have repainted him already after the first trailer. It would have stopped the confusion about Starscream already and keep Starscream color on Cybertron the same.
If he was supposed ro be Blitzwing...why have hime look exactly like Starscream? Travis Knight is supposedly a TF fan...why not make him look like Blitzwing?
He might look similar to Screamy but the people saying he’s an exact copy is incorrect. He doesn’t transform into the same jet, not the same voice, gas mask and no blue.
It should be listed in the credits simply as "The Seeker". It's not like it matters much since renaming this character would be the easiest retcon ever.
Because Travis had to answer to Lorenzo, Bay, and any other Paramount exec over him. . .Though Travis is a good thing, he wasn't an auteur on this movie: would have been awesome if he was. . .
He probably planned for it to be Starscream all along but either Paramount or Hasbro forced the name change. Probably due to 2 things: If they go the prequel route, it couldn't be Starscream since Starscream doesn't die until DOTM If they go the reboot route, Spoiler Starscream would've been killed off way too early It actually worked out for the better that the Seeker IS NOT Starscream. This still leaves room open for an F15 or even F2/ Starscream to show up later on, should any follow up movies go the reboot route. I think it shouldn't have been named Blitzwing either. In fact, I think that name is just used on products, Spoiler I don't recall the Seeker in question ever being referred to by name. So in a way....we still can technically get a Blitzwing we all remember in a future movie.
His paint scheme is a fair bit different to Blitzwing's with a lot more red, blue on the arms and legs and G1-accurate wings. He also sports a unique head sculpt. My only major gripe with Blitzwing's design was that it meant Starscream couldn't sport that design in a future movie. But they've wriggled around that pretty brilliantly and now we have an even nicer representation of Starscream.
