Would he have survived the battle of Chicago and been a threat in AOE?. I would havd loved to se a more prime version of him making deals, double crossing people, sucking up to Lockdown, and trying to take leadership of the Decepticons without realizing Galvatron is Megatron.

 

He would have taken Galvatron's place.... Or he would have resurrected Megatron as Galvatron.

A scene with Starscream sucking up to Lockdown would have been funny! Lockdown would have called him a coward and threaten him!

 

I would've loved for DoritoScream to survive.   Old PizzaScream was just a riot and great incarnation of the character.

 

I would love if he returned as a ghost and use some transformium to create a new body and assume leadership of the remaining decepticons, but somehow accidentaly resurecting megatron in his galvatron body  

and yeah, lockdown facing him would be hilarious!

I would've liked Starscream to do more. His characterization (in the Reign of Starscream) was very interesting. Seeing him react after the events of DOTM would be cool.

 

I would have loved to see how Starscream would act in one movie without Megatron.

 

Probably destroy the Autobots and steal the seed resulting in the last and shortest Transformers movie ever.

 

I agree; Reign of Starscream was my favorite movie-verse comic series, just because he was actually rather badass.

I was really sorry to see Starscream go in DOTM (and even more so the way he did). He's the kind of character it would have been fun to keep around and see how he acts (on-screen) without Megatron (or the Fallen) around. And then even more fun to see what he'd do when Galvatron returned.

With no Starscream, it'd be nice to have some Decepticon that has personality in the next couple movies take the stage along with Galvatron. Galvatron is cool and all, but just him and maybe some drones wouldn't be as fun.

 

Concerning the Lockdown V Starscream debate, Starscream would've easily handled Lockdown.

Back to the movie discussion, Starscream would've been explained better and survived TF4...no matter how unrealistic his death scene was in DOTM. But I'm pretty sure he'll return in TF5, along with Soundwave. They'll probably undergo some sort of name change too. *crossing fingers*

 

Between Reign of Starscream and Transformers Prime it really seems like they could have done more with Starscream in the movies. We kind of got cheated out of Starscream as the leader in Revenge of the Fallen so if the production team had just thought a little bit ahead instead of just assuming a reboot after Dark of the Moon then they would have had an excellent opportunity to bump Starscream into the leadership role.

 

If he went more Prime version then he wouldn't do any of that. He'd bumble aorund, wimper and fold before anyone stronger than him, and fail at literally anything he tried to do.

 

Yeah, he likely would have survived if not for his shitty death at the hands of Sam. Ugh. Fuck DOTM.

Well, his absence from AOE (and no female Transformers) means I'm not spending money to see it in theaters.

 

One does not simply easily handle Lockdown, and no starscream would get his ass handed to him.

 

Ironhide and Ratchet couldn't even take on Starscream in TF1  

 

Nobody could take on Lockdown in AOE though. It was only desperation and a lucky shot that brought him down. Lockdown would've tore Starscream apart.

I mean I kinda get the concept of it was his own arrogance that brought him down, but we didn't really see a lot of Starscream's arrogance. If they were patient and used foresight with the obvious cashcow ticket they got after TF1 they could have saved Megatron coming back for AOE and have Starscream in his place these last 7 years. Megatron has really been playing Starscream in ROTF and DOTM. Like imagine AOE galvatron happens because the humans dredged up Megatron and the other corpses dumped in the ocean to use for metal and intel. Turns out Megatron wasn't really dead and that his mind was still in there waiting around. When Galvatron breaths life into his KSI-cons, the Starscream based one (Kind of like those Shockwave drones) comes back as him and he laughs at the human's feeble attempts to kill him, before Galvatron smacks him around for ditching him in 2007 and puts him back in his place.
