Super Mario World F-Zero Super Mario Kart Super Street Fighter II Final Fantasy VI Harvest Moon Super Metroid Donkey Kong Country Link to the Past Super Castlevania IV It would be really easy to add another 10-20 games and still have plenty of quality titles left over.

I bought SoE back in the day. I can't say I enjoyed anything about it. Murasame, what made you choose it? I have to say I regret not trying Sparkster back then. If online gameplay capability AND Bomberman are on the hypothetical machine, I'm knocking at your PM door murasame to kick your ass in game!
As for secret of evermore, I don't remember much of the game, other than that I liked it. But I wouldn't mind if they could officially translate seiken densetsu 3 as som2 for that and in turn skip soe.

As much as you guys would like to see Star Fox and Super Mario World 2 (so would I) the licensing for the SuperFX chip prevents that IIRC. Anyway my list: Super Metroid Super Mario World MegaMan X Demon's Crest F-Zero Kirby Super Star Zelda: Link to the past Act Raiser Probably more I could name but I can't think if more right now.
Using the NES mini as an example for the First/Third party split and title selection (mostly stuff on VC, no licences), i'd expect something along the lines of - SMW SMK F-Zero Pilotwings LTTP Super Metroid Mario RPG DKC 1-3 Super Punch-Out The 3 Kirby Games Earthbound 2 out of 3 chosen from Vegas Stakes, Super Tennis and Mario All-Stars Something SF2 Something MMX Something Final Fight Super GNG CV4 Contra 3 Cybernator Axelay Gradius 3 Mystical Ninja Wild Guns or Harvest Moon Actraiser One Square Enix JRPG out of CT, FF6 and SOM Super Star Wars could be an exception to no licences as both the game and IP are owned by the same entity, plus its on original Wii VC. Drop a Natsume or less popular Konami title to make room if thats the case. Maybe substitute less popular games for MK2 and/or Super R-Type if the success of the NES mini can get WB and/or Irem on board. No Starfox or Yoshi because SFX. I'd expect the SFC version to have a couple more JRPGs given that they are much more important to that market, DQ6 being the obvious pick.
I'm sure I'll think of more later...
