Replace Ehren Kruger too. I love these films, but the hate they get is not exactly helpful towards my depression disorder, so a better writer could help too.

Considering there are literally a couple hundred "new director" threads that have been made since 2007 thanks to at least one new person per week thinking they are the first to wonder/ask about it, why hasn't anyone just made this a neverending sticky or master thread for this topic by now?

Justin Lin, Jon Favreau, or Doug Liman would be my choices.

Justin Lin. If he does direct 5 I want him to continue from where 4 left off. Screw rebooting it from scratch again. The whole thing about
    The Creators
open new doors and this ends on a cliffhanger.

Edwards and del Toro are the flavors of the week right now, given their recent success with bigger than life creature/robot movies. I'd prefer a no-name director at this point, let a guy try to prove himself instead of having a guy do the same thing over and over again.
