I remember, back in the day, being so excited about Transformers Classics (Which would eventually become CHUG) style and it bringing me back in to collecting Transformers.

Fast forward to 3P companies like FansProject, Maketoys and Mastermind Creations continuing that style. But the last few years the fandom has changed. Masterpiece changed the game. The focus became G1 styled MP sized figures.

I was done. I don’t collect normal, Hasbro Transformers and I stopped collecting MP. I still had MMC but my circumstances changed and I had to sell them. But in the background there was this little company, making some legends scale figures and the ones I had picked up were amazing.

Iron Factory have continued to churn out some of the best figures on the market and at a size that is space saving but still have so much intricate detail and are just so much fun.

The legends scale seems to be going very strong now, and although some are focused on that G1 style, IF seem to be continuing the style I’ll fell in love with way back during the CHUG days.

So here is a thread to show your appreciation for Iron Factory. Post your pictures, discuss the past, present and future of IF and show us what can fit in an IF display.

Well, I do love the Iron Factory aesthetic... Scale pretty well with other lines too.

Legends have revitalized my interest in collecting, they’re so and great looking. I collect G1 legends as well as IF, and IF keeps it fresh because you get something different from them. I also like that they do characters other legends creators wouldn’t touch.

And aside from a couple clunkers, they’re so fun to mess with, they’re great as action figures as well as display pieces.

I love IF and I’m so glad I got into collecting legends scale.

I’m just looking through all the different legends scale pics now. Wow, this scale has exploded.

As much as this is an IF appreciation thread do you have any suggestions for G1 style legends?

Newage is killing it this year, and magic square has some good stuff.

IF and NewAge are definitely my favorite two legends companies.

I tend to stick to IF for Legends, only due to being unable to justify too many versions of the same thing. The Masterpiece figures were where I really started to spend money, but there's enough good stuff at Legends scale now that I could be tempted to ditch all the larger figures to save space!

I keep a dedicated shelf in my office cabinet for Legends. It is beautifully chaotic!

    IF Thread? IF Thread.
I'd never pass an opportunity to show off Bridge Watcher - even though I didn't get the alt. hands, it's an amazing figure and I love IF's unique style.

The only way they could make me buy another Shockwave is if they make their own version of his Prime character.
Definitely hyped for Soundwave 2.0, CJ and Maximus Ambus, and hopefully we get another godly set of reveals like last year's.

Figured I'd post this here as well (from the 3P legends thread), for those wondering about future releases.

Found some test model shots of CJ:
    Which were posted in September.
Same guy also has the Battlechargers:
As well as a shelf full of IF prototypes.
Notice that Soundwave and Maximus Ambus are not coloured, and he's got Bludgeon as well.
From that (although don't consider this as 100% accurate), one could assume their last 2019 releases will be CJ and the Battlechargers. Kinda good news - a bit more time to save money... before they show us what they have in store for us for 2020.

    I’m loving the pics.

I am kicking myself for going AWOL and missing out on the, now nearly impossible to find, Sideswipe, Sunstreaker and Starscream. As it is, I need to get on the rest of the jets before they become scarce too.

    I posted this in the Wishlist thread but here is some of the things I’d like to see from IF;

Fort Max (Inspired by the upgraded Perfect Effect Warden with a better alt mode)
Predaking (Inspired by MMC Feral Rex)
    Impactor/Turmoil (Inspired by MMC Spartan/Commotus)
    Roller (Inspired by MMC Cylindrus)
    Menasor (Inspired by Transform Mission)
Devastator (Inspired by Generation Toy Gravity Builder)
    Punch/Counterpunch (Racing Bros. Repaint/retool)
    Tracks (Hexwrench repaint/retool)
Swerve (Inspired by Maketoys Trash Talk)
Dinobots (Inspired by FansProject Lost Exo Realm)

I missed Starscream as well, but nabbed the other two jets. As we're doing wishlists:

    Nautica
    Megatronia
    Skids
    Getaway
    Impactor
    Xaaron
    Octane

Considering how many figures they do per year (almost 1 per month), I'm sure there's plenty of space for potential guesses, and they seem to be moving towards the IDW style, as well dipping into BW and their Samurai series.

I'm an IF fanboy and it's basically all I collect at this point. I REALLY wish they would give Prime a 2.0 to go with how versatile and entertaining their Megs is.
I have their original Prime and he's nice and all, but you can really tell he's an older design and I'd love to see their fresh take on IDW Prime.

I had this idea as soon as I got Bridge watcher in hand...

My twist on the classic "Shockwave using a gun version of himself" animation error.

    Seemed Logical to me...

A new prime from them would be great. The original is decent enough I suppose, but it’s not to par with most of their releases and we really need something that matches the carbots.

Personally I’ve been hoping to see a G2 Laser Optimus Prime design, as I feel that design would be incredible with IF’s aesthetic, but really anything they do will likely be great.

I wonder if they would do something like their Megatron and include a punch of swappable parts and if so, what Optimus designs would they include parts for?

I am in complete agreement with all these except Devastator. We need am IDW version that can swap parts/ characters for Prowlastator.
