Why is this even a problem to consumers? Do you think Hasbro/Takara would have released the Dinobots, Galvatron and co, combiners, mini Autobots by now? My shelves have practically all major characters on them now and it is all thanks to Third Party manufacturers. If I waited for Hasbro/Takara to get it sorted I would be waiting a long long time.

 

We "outlaws" who buy 3p and ko without any regard are the kind of people i would party with in real life. Th official only crowd are the guys that would never smoke weed cause it's illegal. We're over here doing cables off of stripper tits. Well before the wife and kids lol.

 

I hope the feds do show up in force, and arrest any sellers selling any Hasbro shit at TFCon!!! I dont want my trip being ruined by seing any hollowbro trash anymore. Makes me sick to my stomach even looking at them, YAAAK.

 

Maybe Has / Tak should just make "Legitimate KO's" of 3P product - changing the designs just enough to make it legally distinct. It is their IP after all, and the designs are out there - They could just copy and modify the existing engineering easily - it's like half the work is done for them and it'd really stick it to them - Turnabout's fair play after all.
Either that or extend a liscence to them and make them business partners. I would wager that it would be insanely profitable for the 3P companies as they have a pretty limited market as it stands. If they can do it for pure TRASH like Funko Pop/ Drobz and all crap like that, then I cant see any harm in having FAR more desirable product on the shelf.
Besides, If it were not for 3P, I would have stopped collecting long ago. Has/ Tak just dose not put out enough high end stuff to sustain my interest.

There are a ton of 3rd Party companies, and from my perspective, Hasbro recognizes that these companies aren't infringing on their copyright.
Hell, the whole reason why 3rd parties exist for Transformers fans is that there is a gap between what the fans want and what Hasbro releases that needs to be filled.

Not to mention, Hasbro has plenty of other ways to make money besides Transformers.

Because, just like most other things these days, if someone disagrees with something, they need to turn it into a crusade and bend the rest of the world to their will and not realize "that's your opinion" and not everyone is going to subscribe to it or honestly give a shit what you think.
