On the way home, I was thinking about this today. I spend so much on comics a month and I enjoy it a lot. Otherwise I wouldn't do it. But what if I wasn't interested in comics? What if one day you decide no longer to buy the funny books? What would you spend the money on instead? So I compiled a list on what I might buy. Since I'm not into comics, I don't think I'd buy comic related toys (MLs, DC Direct) So here's my list I spend roughly $150 a month. - a new car. That G6 is SOOO beautiful. I could buy one and use the cash for my monthly payments. - 3 Binaltechs/reissues a month - 10 DVDs a month - Art supplies - Savings - New clothes - Video Games. I could actually buy an XBOX and compare it to my PS2 and get exclusive XBOX games. - Maybe use some for City of Heroes but not into comics so maybe not. - GIJoes. Why not? So what about you guys?
I'd like to say "paying off debt," but i'd probably just spend it on toys and DVDs (I've got quite the backlog of boxsets I want)
if not for comics/toys, i'd spend money on music stuff (CD, media players, instruments) or on a sportsbike. actually i definitely will be shifting to those thing, once i hit premature/early mid life crisis. XD
let's see...i'm currently not buying anything (due to this deployment....it's kinda hard to find them here)...i've been buying more DVDs, stuff for my car, and more stuff for my girlfriend.
If I wasn't buying comics I'd be... hopefully saving my money. Though the most logical choice would be DVD's or videogames. Though I'm sticking with my first choice.
Probably would just end up in the checking account where it would go towards paying bills and buying necessities (which is far less entertaining than collecting comics). Thankfully we have comics!
I'm in the same boat, I probably spend 8 bucks a month at most, and that's a high cost for me; I probably average about 4 bucks a month this year.
I spend around $20 a month on comics, so if I wasn't buying them, I'd probably just spend it on some more toys or something.
