So, I have contacted my seller. They said they will email the supplier however, they cannot guarantee whether I will get any replacement or not also when the replacement will come. Since looking at it, there might be a chance that the whole arm need to be replaced

who did you buy it from? if it is one of the big stores you are good but if it is someone from Taobao or Ali you might be fucked.

i don't know about your seller or what he will tell you. but i do know IF always takes care of recent fig qc issues really damn fast.

I buy it from a local store that I have trusted for quite a few months, my seller said he will try to contact them. However if by chance the replacement part is given it will take a long time. He told me that a long time ago he contacted the supplier about a defect for EX-42 Heat Death (IF Beast War Megatron) on the leg part. It took 6 months for the replacement to arrive. I tried to check IF Facebook and Twitter but it seems to be deserted, no new post etc.

well good luck with all that. i know the process is usually pretty quick. i don't where you are located. if you are in the states or across the pond it is 2-3 weeks usually.

but if you are in china it is china it should be super fast.

cool little dude, just like the rest of the IF crew i have. happy the band is expanding. only gripe is the weird design choice on the hands, which don't collapse fully for alt.

looking forward to getting the rest of them that they've announced. can't wait for SeaSpray and BeachComber. :D

    Cool and cute little guy.

Unsure if it’s just my copy, but he needed a little TLC outta the box — at least it was enough of a “issue” to bother me, personally.

his shoulderblades/wings pop out a little too easily when trying to pose. Likewise, his little black colored joint(s) going from his biceps to his forearms are a little annoying. When trying to pose the arms are all wonky. It’s too loose for my liking there as well — so I future’d those spots and will mess with more more later. Maybe they didn’t want another “Tight Arm Tarn scandal” happening again.

Other than that, QC wise he’s amazing.

my copy seems to be the complete opposite and there are a few areas that are super tight that made me cringe while transforming it. also because of the intricate way everything fits and locks together, the tight tolerances made me very nervous i was going to break something. the worst being the two black pins that connects the wings to the body, which needs to be rotated in order to change the angle of the wings from bot to alt. those are scary tight to turn and there's not much you can grab onto except the burgundy plastic that wraps the pin, which i feel i could easily sheer off by accident. o_O

aside from that i'm fairly impressed with both the bot and alt presentation. i also managed to find a pseudo "gerwalk" mode that works fairly nicely! :D

So what’s the consensus here on this bot? I opened mine today and just transformed him for the first time, I think he’s really cool and fun to mess with. The transformation is a bit fiddly the first time, but following a video helps and he’s solid when it’s done. Cool alt too.

I’m surprised BSF gave him such a shitty review, I think he’s great.

i think he is a cool little bot. i welcome any new autobot figs into my legend ranks.

i just think BSF was mad that IF powerglide was too angular to fit easily inside him. dude was just hating from the get go on the fig.

It did seem wildly disproportionate, but it doesn’t make me regret purchasing it.

My only regret was not knowing that I should’ve set Planet X’s Cacus for Roller’s Stash like I had with Power Falcon, and then asked TCP to ship them both, rather than assuming they’d catch my email to ship them together after I was emailed that Cacus had arrived.

Learning the hard way, so you don’t have to! :p

    I think it’s a fine figure. I wouldn’t say it’s IF’s best figure, but it’s still very good.

I like the robot mode. The jet mode isn't Drift v.1 bad. But it felt like the transformation was overly complicated for how simple the jet is.

I've never been a huge fan of the alt mode. Kinda looks like a flying starfish. Once I realized you didn't have to pull the tail fins out, it feels a lot better. PXL_20220804_124025268~2.jpg

i dig both the bot and alt modes. but i agree with @zeroblue2099 that the transformation to get it into alt is a bit of a chore and not an easy or fun thing to do with all the fiddling and lining things up to fit together. :p

I really like IF’s Powerglide. Well, I like most IF’s mini vehicles… He’s not as fiddly as I thought, and though the alt mode is not the cleanest one, it tabs much better than I thought he would (I also got their Deadlock, and he’s a pain to transform and get into an acceptable alt mode). And I love the look.

But I have a problem : after putting his gun in alt mode, I can’t get him back to robot mode. I can’t get the handle out. It doesn’t seem to be stuck, but I can’t grab it firmly enough to fold it back to handgun mode, even with a tool…

Any hint ? Am I missing something ? Am I having a massive mind fart ?

I still haven’t even transformed my Power Falcon once, despite getting them back in August. .^.

But, maybe a tiny bit of silicon grease or dish soap might help lubricate it and get it free.
