That's awfully pretentious of you. There's also us CHUG collectors who want cool stuff like The Fallen, too, just in a bigger, heftier size.

 

Goodness The Fallen has never looked better than this. Given his origin the Sauron look realy suites him.

I'm kinda regretting not getting into IF's lineup, but man that price for tiny figures is a deal-killer for me.

Chaos Paladin isn't a cohesive whole figure, though. It's a smaller, Deluxe-ish sized toy with power armor, meant to be compatible with Power Core Combiners.

In other words, it's not what myself and others are looking for in a Fallen figure. We're not criticizing IF for making a cohesive Fallen for their Legends-class line, but we are expressing the desire for another 3P company to tackle a proper, CHUG-scale Fallen that has a similar aesthetic and "completeness" to it.

It means that every single Legends scale figure that gets posted on the front page... every- single- one-, has people jumping into the thread letting us all know how much they deserve to have it upscaled to CHUG or MP, or how it looks neat, but they "don't do small bots". They always feel entitled to come here letting us know how much better their collection scale is, but oh boy ...the moment someone dares go into their thread and suggest their toy is crappy or of lazy design, and that they could just get a cool legends bot instead, that's the end of the world and the mods have to get involved.

I have absolutely zero sympathy for anyone who is sad that there's a great legends bot for a character and no larger version.

 

It's not Deluxe. Just say that it's smaller that what you'd like for it to be. It's still CHUG scale.

I sense an incredible double-standard here. Just because some people voice their opinion that a Legends-class figure should be upscaled 1) doesn't mean they're being "entitled," and 2) it doesn't give you justification to go into threads about non-Legends and complain that it's not to your specific tastes, either.

It also happens that 3P has essentially abandoned the CHUG market, and we're out here saying we're still willing to pay good money for decent CHUG-scale figures, especially of characters that HasTak doesn't touch (such as The Fallen).

No, it's not CHUG scale. It's PCC scale. Very big difference. Like I said, it was designed foremost to be compatible with PCC, meaning it wasn't designed to be CHUG compatible.

 

So you get to come here and say this figure is too small for your collection, but I don't get to go to a CHUG thread and say that toy doesn't have an interesting enough transformation for my collection.

OKAY THEN.

 

Is it wrong that I'm very tempted to have this be my Fallen, with him being a freeza-esque "don't judge power by size" dealio?
