Man, that’s pretty. The only thing that would make that design better would be a scaled up version that was the size of a WFC Voyager. (I’d love to see this guy in Generations at some point. We really need a new toy for him.)

I am so behind in my IF collecting.
I liked Tyrant but didn\'t see the appeal of all those alt parts to please everyone instead of just commiting.

 

Well you couldn’t tell because that comic was a train wreck that looked like it was thrown into a mud puddle after it was finished to give it a look of “gritty”

 

Do legends collectors go into the Masterpiece threads and whine about wanting a figure to be scaled down? Because all of the "scale it up" is seriously annoying.

 

I personally do not, but I'd definitely want a scaled-down G1 Jetfire and Mirage. had to specify G1 because I know IF has their version of Jetfire and Mirage already, albeit very stylised.

 

This guy looks pretty sweet. I like that fire cape!

I personally want this downscaled to match my Megablocks minifigs.

 

it’s in every legends thread. Half the time I think it is just a running gag.

Having said that, I’d happily take some more of the MMC figures scaled down to legends. It’s already happened with a few such as Carnifex, Hexatron and the Fembots. But give me scaled down Feral Rex and Commotus and Spartan.

 

I had no idea that figures get scaled down. I'm not familiar with that brand but now my curiosity is peaked. Even so I won't be going around in threads begging for figures to be resized.
I wonder if it's some form of trolling.

im fully aware, I read the comic when it came out but it doesn’t change the fact dreamwaves coloring was trash and made the comic look like he was dragged in the mud

 

I've bought a few IF legends and there are a few more I need for my collection setup, there are a few I'd kill to have upsized to Voyager and there are a few "MP" I'd kill to get downsized into voyager "DX9 Terror". I try to stay clear of things I don't like so I hardly ever go into a MP thread. I won't buy this IF fig but I want HeatDeath, working with someone to get Dark Assassin and Shrikefeather. My collection is really weird but it makes sense in the grand scheme of things, I had DEC replace MMC DJD and be the combiner team on my Dark Counsel of 13 Primes. So its only a few that I'd want upscaled

 

PIMP OF THE YEAR. Those pointy toes are specially designed for when he wants to break his foot off in his ho’s ass.

 

The new pictures a mixed bag for me. There's a lot to like, especially all the translucent yellow/orange and the shoulder cannon (I'm really hoping this somehow works with the original Tyrant mold). I personally don't know how much I like the feet, which seem to really throw off the proportions on the bottom half of the figure, especially against the obviously re-used cape from past molds. The cape now looks too short, like Shazam. I don't think it adds anything other than making him taller than the original Tyrant mold, either. There are new front hip-flaps, which look nice with translucent pieces added, but I can't tell if they rotate up or not (like they do on the original Tyrant mold), which would obviously have an effect on articulation. I personally would have liked to have seen remolds of the front treads to give him a new look up front in tank mode while also giving him something new on his back (which could also detach, carried over from the Tyrant mold)... like a front snow-scoop/shovel that splits into wings (like the carbots). And the dead eyes are a real bummer.

 

Looks absolutely fabulous Iron Factory but does this look like a Samurai Robot Lion? Well? Does it? Grrrrrr.
