Wasn't a lot of Scott Pilgrim's woes blamed on/caused by being released in the same week or so of The Expendables?

    Can you imagine?

Transformers doing the right thing and turning G1 like back in your school daze. A Spike Lee Joint....

I think so. It was more successful on Blu Ray/DVD. Gutting as it was a good film!

It would be interesting seeing Snyder direct it, but I bet chances for that are low.
1- Most of his films these days are from Warner Bros., Not Paramount
2- According to the website of Cruel And Unusual Films, he has a bunch of other movies to do, but then again, he won't be director on any of them really.

Eventhough I really love DelToro's movies, I can't see him directing a TF movie.
I love the way he keeps his movies so real with fantastic sets, a lot of costumes and just a little bit of CGI use (well, HB The Golden Army was a lot more stopped up with CGI than the first movie, and you can say what you want: The first Hellboy movie was way better from the actual look than the second).
So, a no for DelToro + TF. It just won't work.

I hope I didn't come across as a Del Toro hater, it's not that at all. I think he is a great director. Blade 2 and the Hellboy films are amazing. But I completely agree with all that you are saying.

Guess that means John Turturro will reprise his role.

Sorry, but it won't happen. Not unless another Hollywood studio gives him a shot and he scores a major runaway hit. Scott Pilgrim really tarnished his name. I doubt we'll see any non-British movies out of him in the future.

    Yeah. Hail The Old Cameron.

Also i'd hate to see the Autobots as hybrid vehicles while the Decepticons are only milatary vehicles and their would be a evil rich billionare that would pollute the ocean. Yeah If this was Old Camaeron it would be a post apocolyptic future.

I'm surprised he hasn't directed a gritty Capatain Planet movie yet.

Nah, he will be busy with Abraham Lincoln movie. In fact, Transformers is too big scale for Spielberg.
I think he just doesn't want to direct TF movies. Or else he could've done it like in 2005.

If Peter Jackson directed the next Transformers movie, it would be the best thing ever.
