It looks very good, very vibrant colours. And I've always liked the Armada Megatron design.

However, I already own the recent retail version of Eris and I prefer not to buy several version of the same mould -- unless there's a good reason. It is a very good figure, though...

But this makes it the third release in this line and still only one mould. Wasn't there supposed to be a Drift and others?

How will she scale with Legacy Optimus?

 

The core bot and ER Optimus are around the same height.


She would actually be around eye-to-eye with Naval Commander's core bot since he's slightly shorter then Pexus.

 

I don't understand why MMC complains about some of their releases not meeting desired sales targets, which leads them to drastically scaling down on a certain lines, but then they release stuff like this. Naturally there will be people who will gladly pick this figure up, but if this sells more than 500 units, I'd be very surprised.

Honestly considering it's been nearly 3 months of silence I kind of forgot this version existed till now.

 

There’s 2 uses of the Eris mold rumored to be released in the distant future. @LazyAza has hinted that one of them is Bludgeon. Nobody is really sure when they’ll release, but I await Eris Bludgeon with great anticipation.

Ooh, that’d be perfect. I was thinking G1 Quake or Armada Demolishor for the unknown retool, but I like your idea more.

 

Specifically, I think a two pack of War Within Grimlock and War Within The Fallen would be absolute perfection, but I think that might be asking too much, though a guy can dream.
