Hmm... I see. The only problems I can see when looking at his work is that sometimes the proportions on the characters look a bit off, especially when focusing on the head sculpts.

In my opinion, the thing that makes Livio’s art great is how much it differentiates from other artists. He brings this very rustic and mysterious vibe that I quite enjoy.

His work is undeniably distinctive and unlike other artists. Whether or not that's actually a good thing, YMMV.

I really like Ramondelli's coloring but...

of all the people you want to bring back for interiors, it's him?

SMH at IDW. First they announce that they were rebooting GI Joe into Twitter #theresistance and now hiring some clown from Vox Media after that company's jihad against YouTube. And SMH at Hasbro for being so tone deaf to the fact that so few people actually pay money for nonsense from this lot. IDW is losing money selling comics too now. Comic shops are closing. Hasbro is losing money selling toys. Toys stores are closing. Wake up while you all still have a business.

I don't hate Livio Ramondelli's style, but I can tip in with an explanation of why I'm back and forth about his work. I think his style is best suited for specific kinds of situations. For example, he does "doomed/grimy/gritty world" well. There's also how characters often end up looking off in some way or another, which does detract my enjoyment of the story because it's distracting.

And im done with idw. Cancelling my subscription to the main book now.

Of all the people to bring back from the old run you bring back the worst artist?

Why not Alex Milne? Jack Lawrence, Nick Roche, Sarah Pietre Durocher, Hayato Sakamoto, or Don Figueroa?

    Anyone but Ramondelli

Comic books are a visual media. A solid chunk of the enjoyment comes from the artwork.
Kinda hard to enjoy a book when the art looks like somebody wiped thier ass with the page.

"Hurr buhurrr, Ramondelli works fast he makes deadlines."
I'd rather buy a product that took it's time to be good Over rushed crap.

Getting a big name like Tyler Bleszinski to do a Transformers comic is pretty cool and Livio Ramondell is always welcomed in my book.

I mean, did the guy ever write a comic book, or any form of published fiction for the matter? I'm glad his kid's happy his dad's gonna write Tranformers and all, but usually it's not a good idea to hire someone for a job said someone has no experience with. It's like asking a random journalist laid off of Buzfeed to write for Game of Thrones.

Given the implication that there are going to be story arcs, it’s indicated that it’ll be a monthly ongoing:

Beginning in September, IDW Publishing proudly builds upon the success of 2019’s bold new era of Transformers comic books with its first spin-off series: Transformers: Galaxies! Featuring story arcs that delve deeper into the origins, motivations, and world-shattering machinations of the extended Transformers cast, Galaxies launches with a story arc dedicated to the fan-favorite crew, the Constructicons!

Maybe this will save IDW from the borefest of shit Transformers comics they've been pumping out since the reboot and Optimus Prime.
    Colour me interested.

Didn't take them long to start running multiple series simultaneously.

Well that's an awesome idea. Sounds like the old spotlight series, which I loved! But still, calling it galaxies and starting on cybertron seems weird.

Huh. Didn't expect any kind of spin offs so soon into the new ongoing. Wonder if this was internally decided before the reboot started, or after a few issues? Either way I'm interested. Like others have said, this is more-or-less an ongoing Spotlight-type of thing, which I can dig. Not only could it lead to interesting, varied stories outside of the main ongoing (Constructicons as exiled master builders? Wicked.), but if the author and artist changes with every arc (no idea if this is actually the case), then it could be a good way of getting new blood into the series. So all-in-all, I'm down for it.
