The Revelations saga will be a four part series, presented as four Spotlights.

According to the sketch in the link above, the four Spotlights will be:

    Cyclonus
    Sideswipe
    Dealer
    Hardhead

The blog entry also suggests it'll be the final part of Furman's "-ation" saga:
And per Chris Ryall on the IDW Forums, it would definately be under the Spotlight header with something to the affect of:

They're just going to change the naming structure. The one after that is Expansion.

"We here at IDW don't feel there are enough dangling plot threads refusing to be answered...so we're starting the new arc "Expansion" where the 12 current hanging threads will be expanded to 37."

Good to hear... I was worried when they said 'end of the 'ations' saga' because I'd really doubt they could wrap up the dead universe, Thunderwing, Sixshot, Hot Rod's chase after the Headmasters, Grimlock-Soundwave-Shockwave awaking on Earth, Nemesis Prime, Jhiaxus, Arcee, the Gestalts, Megs loose on Earth and all that in 4 issues.

I just hope Chris won't push any other writer into the main IDW storyline - Furman's at his best when he spins epic sagas out of an ordinary-looking storyline on his own.

From the looks of it, Cyclonus was a member of Ark I. too and is 'undead' like Galvatron. Also I bet Hot Rod, left on Earth on his own to track down Scorponok, will call his old 'buddy' (Double)Dealer for help... I'm looking forward to the look on his face when he finds out he has been betrayed.

Well, Revelations sounds like its going to resolve several current dangling plot points. But I'm sure there will always be plot points left dangling - why is Ratbat on Earth for example?

So far I've been enjoying IDW's take on TF (ok, each standalone issue still feels very short) so I'm looking forward to seeing them wrap it all up. Good choice of spotlight characters too, I like the fact that we're seeing characters already introduced get the highlight treatment.

Huh. Very interestingk. Looking forward to it, though honestly I would have preferred another 6-part "ation" series instead.

The Spotlight: Cyclonus totally makes up for Wheelie getting one. And that art! He looks GHASTLY! :D

Looking forward to these, and I like the artwork a lot.

Still waiting for that Smokescreen Spotlight, though. :(

    Good news to me.

I wonder if IDW plans to revisit the Beast Wars.

All of this is excellent news. Can't wait to see how it ends. Hopefully they release a Starscream Spotlight at some point. I want an origin story for him.

Call me underwhelmed in they're finishing this massively long series with Spotlights. It seems more like they're just trying to abandon the story than giving it a proper conclusion. Never know though, it could be great.

    Nice art for the covers.

Wonder what prompted the change of Hardhead instead of Sideswipe on the second position in the art.
