Hey all. Long time transformers fan, but slowly getting into the IDWverse. Could someone explain Gorlam Prime, and what happens to the planet prior to Unicron #0 and what happens to it after Lost Light 25?

Well, Gorlam Prime somehow became undisintegrated, just in time for Unicron to eat it. It doesn't appear after LL25

Unless you mean Cybertron? That got torn in half in Unicron 4

EDIT: You probably meant Functionist Cybertron! Yeah, that's still around

I always assumed the implication under Furman was that Gorlam Prime's cybernetic development was originally meant to be the IDW Cybertron's 'origin story', that the planet's eventual emergence from the Expansion, with its inhabitants now referring to it as 'Cybertron' was supposed to have been coupled with a shift back in time of some sort.

Hearts of Darkness and so forth then went a different way with it entirely, of course.
