really excited for this. my only gripe is how straight the tabs underneath his face are, in the comic they curve but other than that I want this on my shelf... yesterday

Is there nothing underneath there that the could just connect to? Or possibly make a bit of a cover that includes them that clips to the back/cockpit?

Not a critical feature but if I'd love to buy this kit especially if it did have them.

OH! I did just think of one very important thing. You NEED to make sure this has the ability to securely hold 5mm weapons. Break the design if you must but he MUST be able to hold weapons!
    :)

    EDIT:
Oh... you say you will in the first post...

    Reading is fundamental people.

My next problem will be deciding which color spray paint to buy for this.

WOW! i wasn't expecting this much love for this kit hahh. I'm really glad everyone is enjoying it as much as i am to make it.

not sure yet. I'm hoping to cut down cost as much as possible, but I'm guessing something around 30-40$ unfortunately. but we will see once I'm done.

different pics show different things, thats the pain and luxury of reference the comics. i can kind of pick and choose the parts i like best. i just found this way to look a bit better.

not really much to clip onto unfortunately. ill have to take a look at what i can do.

hah yeah, basically it will be a 5mm tube that attaches to the balljoint right between his claws if you can kind of see it. i have yet to test it but I'm not too worried about it not working.

No sense my reinventing the wheel man, I just saw the update with the head and stuff and there's absolutely nothing I would try and do differently. :)

Oh, for the chest-gun, how about replacing that rotating part under the front of the cockpit?

thats exactly what i was thinking to put there. but idk how willing buyers would be to literally split the whole figure apart. he's got those two flat head pins that hold the hip assembly to the body. those need to be removed in order to split the body (to remove the rotors) then you'd have to unscrew the cockpit. i feel its too much work for the buyer.

Yeah I've tried to remove that bit for a custom and it just is so much of a pain in the ass I left it.

...Yeah, I just tried to take the pin out of the cockpit to see if there was any wiggle room without removing those two flat pins, and the cockpit sheared in half. If I as a pretty experienced customiser couldn't do it without that, I can't say I recommend it to most people...

EDIT: Having said that, after removing the pin, and undoing the screw, it's very easy to remove that part. If the cockpit wasn't so fragile, it wouldn't be so bad.

Is it bad that I keep staring at the pictures in the first post?
