Newsflash, but unions are run by the old school mafia. They changed gears. The disputes come from an attitude of entitlement and greed. If you don't make enough money at your job, go find another one. Besides that, I've worked for union and non-union companies. I can say without doubt that the attitudes ( both company and coworker ) are better at non-union companies. Non-union coworkers help each other out. Union coworkers have too much of a "not my job" mentality. Non-union management can be friendly and open-door with the rank and file. Union management are often regarded as the "enemy" by the rank and file and there's always tension anytime they are in the same room together.

I'll work non-union, thank you very much. It's a much more pleasant experience.
