Surprised I couldnt find anyone who has done this.
Didn't like the Character till IDW did their spotlight issue on him.
Nothing but respect for the underdog survivalist :tumbleweed:
I am a noob when it comes to painting stuff but doing a quick and dirty job on such a character was easy.
Sloshed some dull silver/grey for the arm and, some splashes of muddy brown, now we have a survivor.

Energon converter made from Ionx core thing with some cyberverse weapon stuck to it and a piece of wax necklace

Thing can be dragged along and wheelie can Still can transform but it is painful ;)

Still one of my favorite IDW stories.
Inspires me through the darkest hours.

I was just thinking about this story yesterday. Amazing job! Love the detail and the converter, a great tribute to a great character spotlight!

Wheelie was one of the few post movie figures I got as a kid, and I hated him. I felt the IDW spotlight redeemed him as a character, as well as explained his distinct way of speaking. Good job with the left arm. with practice, the weathering really makes a character pop, and can be a lot of fun.

That "digested" arm, man totally perfect. This is just such a great custom paintjob and "trailer" bit. Awesome work! :buttrock

Lol at your ruined heroic childhood. Thanks. This was a simple job with gundam markers, I try to keep it simple but might learn tricks along the way.
