Even knowing what happens in Galaxies and we only have hints on where Deathsaurus is in the story now, seeing it like this is still pretty brutal and a little hard to swallow. My man can't stop being brutalized, and the art really plays up the robo gore almost too well.

Agree, again. Cliffjumper can\'t keep his torso in one piece. he\'s alway torn apart.

Note to self, do series with Cliffjumper, Dirge, and Blurr as leads who survive. Anyone else dying constantly?

And man, what's Deathsaurus going to do when his actual arch enemy shows up?

And geez, why does Cyclonus keep getting different, but awesome takes on his character?

Guys, come on. Deathsaurus more than likely holds a grudge against Cliffjumper, right? Note what he says in the panel where his claws are held up to the sky: "Again." Seems to me the most likely option is that he's using something similar to the Holo-Deck or the Danger Room, simulating CJ's demise over and over again until he can *actually* get his hands/claws on him. I'm wiling to bet money our boy's still alive, or at the very least that what we saw wasn't reality.

Wow, randomly killing Cliff for the third time, super edgy dudes.

    "Heh."
    "Heh. Again."

This reads like a 13 year old wrote it.

Classic preview fakeout, it's going to end up being a dream or a simulation.

I do like how I’m actually intrigued now having read the preview. I want to read it and know more. This is a rare feeling towards IDW2 comics.

I like the fact that the Vok have individualized designs despite all being floating skulls. They seem to be a bit more hands-on when it comes to the combatants in the Beast Wars this time, or at least direct observers from day one as opposed to having their artifacts repeatedly destroyed and getting pissed about it.

Outside of the great art, I'm still not convinced on the Beast Wars comic. Do we really need to give the Vok names and show them having extended conversations? Isn't anything left to mystery anymore?

There was nothing to the mystery in the first place, it was all just JJ Abrams Mystery Box style bullshit.

Oh shit they're diving right in to the Vok.

I like expanding on the Vok. They were just there in the original BW.

And we can assume they were observing the whole time during BW. So why not show that.

So does the second issue to beast wars only have 3 different covers instead of four like the first issue?

The Vok here kinda remind me of the floating masks from Crash Bandicoot. I like that they have different distinct designs, I also wasn't expecting to see them this early.

exactly! The reason the Vok and their machinations in the cartoon were a mystery is because let’s be honest, the show didn’t know what they were and where to take them! Set them up early! It’s changed some of the lore a bit which is great especially since there’s people who think it’s too close to the cartoon.

Nobody is going to be reading the comic asking who built these weird structures on the planet. Everyone knows! They’re asking whe will the Vok be pivotal! It’s like dropping a line in G1 about planets disappearing. Gee I wonder who could be doing that?! This looks like a mystery to be solved!
