Cliffjumper is most likely not dead. The last time we saw Deathsaurus he was comatose. The fact that he's saying "again" probably means this is a dream and he's been killing Cliffjumper over and over again in his dreams. Well, at least I hope so.
So Crasher\'s now pink? Also, Cliffjumper has to come back. They wouldn\'t have given him a story in Galaxies if they were going to kill him off like he was nothing.

I hope one day to be able to work on a Transformers show so Cliffjumper can be one of the only bots to actually live.
At first I was like "WTF the Insecticons killed Cliffjumper" but then I realized those are Deszaras' arms. You can also see the alien world in the background where Cliffjumper seriously injured him. He's locked in a dream.

Huh, if that’s the case then I honestly never noticed. Maybe because the characters in Milne’s work have so much detail in them, the lack of backgrounds are less noticeable. However in this new Beast Wars comic, I did immediately notice the lack of backgrounds. Maybe because the characters are in a simpler style. I don’t dislike this art but the lack of backgrounds did make the panels look empty and rushed at times to me. (Or maybe it was a conscious choice, the original cartoon didn’t have much going on in terms of backgrounds either. Okay I’m not being serious just now)
To clarify: I wasn't saying Milne doesn't do backgrounds full stop, but he tends to do strong establishing shots (The grand opening of Swerve's bar immediately springs to mind) and if the background isn't important, he tends to replace it with a gradient or a white void, particularly in close-ups. He typically made it clear where they were spatially right out of the gate and then focused on the characters themselves from there on out.
The guy who wrote Cliffjumper to be so important in Galaxies is probably pissed now... On that cover, how is Starscream leaning to Megatron\'s ear? Did he first remove one of the tank treads from his back?
