I love the whole "Let's go full National Geographic" mindset with those alternate covers.

I dig those covers.

Even if Rage's inclusion the last time we saw him was pretty lackluster, I have to admit I love seeing him show up here. He's one of my favourite obscure guys. Hydradread, too. I dug them a lot in those funpub text stories and I just think their designs are really cool.

I also have to admit that I dig this "4 Great Generals" layer to the lore, and the four they chose are some bad ass choices. I was pretty thoroughly disappointed with Ultra Magnus in Galaxies, but Strika's lived up to the hype, and Pyra Magna has shown to be interesting. The fact that they're all coming into play is pretty interesting.

 

I mostly like it, but why are they made of cordoroy?

I'm going to be honest, I think Burcham's cover for issue 2 is actually my favorite out of the ones we've seen. I like the vibe the NatGeo parody was going for but all of them have been pretty flat so far, and the Primal vs Megatron cover is well-drawn, but this is wonderfully well-lit and evocative in spite of its simplicity.

 

Is this a mini series? I thought it was going to be on going, but the local comic book shop told me it\'s limited. I really enjoyed that first issue I want them to keep it going!!! There is so much they can do with the beast wars arc 

 

I read the first Beast Wars and i have to say i'm not really a fan of the character design, they look like generic fan made versions of characters in the TF Animated style you can find online, you know the ones that look like a variation of the Animated Prime/Prowl body were the only real difference are the face and height.

Wish they took more inspiration from Wyatt's design choices and made the proportions more varied and daring.

 

What is transformers Escape?

 

A miniseries that ties into the current arc of the ongoing, a companion piece, if you will.
