Looks like Strika has the Magnus Hammer if I\'m seeing things correctly. Also that Rhinox art is very Thrilling 30.
Anyone read BW#1? Was it any good? Hopefully that Dai Atlas sparks a Commander Class figure down the line, im not saying sooon but eventually.
If the title for that month\'s issue of the War World Arc is any indication, we may get more secrets about the Titans. Which I\'m down for since they are one of my favorite aspects of the transformers. I pray that that we get more character development for these guys since the only ones so far that got such attention are Metroplex, Trypticon, and Vigilem. I wanna eventually see more of Caminus, or maybe we can finally see Tempo\'s robot mode. I want more Titans darn it!
Oh hey Pyra Manga. Well I suppose I\'d better get ready for some salt. Nice axe though. Actually all those weapons look nice, though Strika\'s hammer looks best. Also Megatron is not interested in helping to recreate iconic scenes from the Bayformers movies it seems. It honestly felt like Victory Leo got treated better in his short apperence in Magnus story than all the other Japanese G1 guys except Overlord did in previous IDW. And you could do a lot more with someone who just decides they don't want to stick around for this war now that we've gotten a good look at pre war Cybertron, and can see all that it's costing and all that Megatron is going to ruin. Heck we got three more in Cyberverse, so clearly we're not the only ones. I'm not saying figures for everyone, but they've got some real room to experiment, like with more Beast form Titans like Cheela and Trypticon. Or a Cthulu like Dweller in the Deeps, or something else just unexpected.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume that those alternate covers of a Maximal in robot mode + a Predacon in Beast mode will continue for the first set of issues. We've got Primal and Megatron for issue #1, Rhinox and Scorponok for issue #2, so I'm going to assume that we'll get like... Rattrap and Waspinator, Nyx and Terrorsaur, Cheetor and Tarantulas, and then after all of that just one of Dinobot by himself.
Escape looks like it has a good selection of characters. I'll probably grab whatever hardcover it ends up being in.
Honestly despite everything I can\'t help but be intrigued by where Ruckley is taking his series. Beast Wars is definitely what I\'m most excited for though. I kinda wish this was how IDW originaly did it\'s reboot after Unicron with two ongoings you\'ve got the G1 characters ongoing for those who want something familiar and then the Beast Wars ongoing for those who want something more unique. At least now we\'re getting that Beast Wars series I had a look at some of Burnham\'s previous works and I\'m confident he can pull this off.
