Typically I would agree, however if someone who complains and doesn't like what they have, and continues to invest in it, that's a problem in of itself.

It's as though someone would continue to purchase the comics for the sole reason of complaining about it.

It's okay to stop reading something mid run and to come back later. It's not worth ruining your enjoyment over something if you feel like you're being forced to read something that you don't enjoy. If this story improves three to six months down the line, but you already have a negative perception, then you may feel the same despite any positive changes.

I can't speak personally, because I am enjoying the comics.

If I buy a Transformers toy and I don't like it, I'm going to say I don't like it. Even if I don't like the next Transformers toy I buy either, I'm not going to stop buying the toys just because of a few bad figures. Same with comic books too. I'm going to continue reading them and I will call them out on being of poor quality and praise them when they do something good. If I don't keep reading them, how will I know when they do actually improve and give me a story that I enjoy?

Someone who gives their hobby up due to a few bad experiences is a weak-minded pathetic fan. Every long-running comic book series ever has gone through bad writers. Don't tell me they haven't.

It is not okay to stop reading as you will be completely lost when you do come back so what would be a good issue to those who have read the previous issues and understand whats going on, would be a bad issue to someone who has not read the previous issues and is confused to what is happening in the comic.

No one is saying you can't express whether you like something or not.

The issue becomes if there is zero enjoyment, the question is, do you continue?

It's not a matter of a few issues or a few figures.
Many of the complaints on this forum have been consistent from the first issue. if you're going to tell me that you didn't like issue one but you continue to buy for over a year and haven't like the single issue that's a whole other problem altogether.

Everyone has a choice. From picking up books they don't like to paying inflated prices on eBay. There's no right or wrong, it comes down to personal preference.

    Interesting point, but not applicable.

Corporations preview content FOR THIS VERY SORT OF FEEDBACK!

If you think IDW or Hasbro, or their shareholders don't peruse these very boards, you're wrong. Most corporations pay serious money for this sort of feedback via focus groups. So if I'm spending my time/ money on providing marketing information upon which Hasbro may act and correct course - you should THANK me.

I am excited for Escape! Interesting to show the refuges of the war and those trying to save them.

Am I supposed to find Flamewar funny or annoying? Seems like the writer is trying hard to make her zany.

Surprised Slipstream would tolerate such stupidity.

    Ebay:
The art is terrible. Windblade looks like a generic female robot with wings on her back, not a transformer. And the faces... horrible.

Sky Lynx? And he's actually acting like himself?? After Earthrise, you have no idea how much of a breath of fresh air this is.

Yes. Now do not worf him. Do not worf him. He's suppossed to be one of the Autobot's powerhouses, and punch in the range of a combiner, and I hope that's remembered. And he's not just a spacebus.

What? So they cranked his arrogance up to eleven in the flashback then brought it down to normal after he was given a time out. How was that not in character? Sky lynx makes Sunstreaker look humble.

To be frank, Sky Lynx was treated terribly in Earthrise. He's banished to hell by Alpha Trion, a character we're apparently supposed to sympathize with, left to rot, spends his entire episode giving exposition to Optimus, then dies horribly when he takes the brunt of Megatron's hate energy. In the time he was around he didn't feel like the magnificently bombastic Sky Lynx, he felt like the showrunners were trying to write Yoda.

That Cosmos cover is the worst, laziest, cover I\'ve ever seen.

Windblade sure looks like she fits right in with all those other characters. :lol

And yeah, that Cosmos cover is pretty weak, but so is the Astrotrain one. Is that old, reused art, or have I just seen that pose from Ramondelli that much?

If it's supposed to be funny then it failed. I mean it's kind of funny that she references "powderulverize" from FFOD, but it's ruined by the same modern joke formula of a character saying a silly thing, then another character gong "did you just say a silly thing?" and then the first character going "I did say a silly thing!"

It's the modern equivalent of a laugh track, like the joke can't just land it has to be pointed out.

By that standard, nobody is being forced to read these threads or the comments you don't enjoy, either.
