Hey folks, Just wondered if someone could clarify to me which issues of Revolutionaries and Revolution: Heroes actually contain any relevant Transformers parts. This whole crossover business has thrown me so any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Will
The new Revolutionaries series features Kup, Blackrock and Ayana Jones from ex-RID as main characters (alongside Action Man), and has additional Transformer guest stars in many issues (e.g. Soundwave in #3, the Predacons in #4). It's basically a fourth Transformers ongoing, albeit one bringing in all the other franchises too. 'Revolution: Heroes' is the trade paperback that collects the five non-Transformers one-shot issues from the Revolution crossover - Rom, MASK, Micronauts, G.I. Joe, Action Man. Of those, only the Action Man one has significant Transformers content - it co-stars Kup, and is something of a prelude to Revolutionaries - so you might want to buy it as a single issue rather than getting the whole 'Heroes' TPB.
Alternatively, you could get the Action Man TPB which has it in, and is an excellent story that is also kind of a prelude to Revolutionaries. Nope; he's in G.I. Joe.
