IDW Publishing names new editor-in-chief

IDW Publishing has promoted David Hedgecock from managing editor to editor-in-chief in what the company characterizes as an “editorial-group restructuring.” Chris Ryall, who has served as editor-in-chief for more than a decade, will remain as chief creative officer, but in “an expanded capacity,” focusing on developing new creative opportunities across the company’s divisions.

In addition, the publisher has hired Chris Cerasi, who previously worked at Lucasfilm, DC Entertainment and Rovio, as an editor.
