It seems like the IDW stuff is scattered across numerous companies, some I don't even know, and no one in particular took the lead on this line. So I have to ask: did anyone make a More Then Meets The Eye Megatron that scales with Op Ex?
Not that i've seen. Op ex is why i didn't get MMC megs. Their calidus looks good next to Op tho. Gt bomber Megs is pretty great. After Defensor is done i really hope Gt does several individual idw figures before they tackle another combiner.
That's disappointing. I was hoping to get a few IDW characters to stand with their books but while I can find Op-Ex still in stock those same stores don't have Calidus nor is there a matching Megs apparently. Or Cyclonus or Magnus or most of the other characters to pair him with it seems. Why did such a great series get so few figures?
I think defensor ate their lunch. Imo blades was such a technical build for them engineering wise with all his panels they didn't do much else. Hence why it took a year to get him after streetwise. Groove came out not long after blades and now first aid looks like he is gunna drop soonish. I would love someone to get in touch with Gt and figure out if they have any other figures planned for this line. I know they are doing the beast line but even that looks like it has slowed to a crawl with primal being their only release so far.
Wait for Gcreation, they finished implementing the new technology they were working on. The next MP IDW figure from them is going to be Drift, then IDW Megatron (stealth bomber)
The Tank. Bomber Megs was cool but I feel like he had that body for so little time (IIRC - Shockwave builds it, Megs beats up Starscream in it, The Autobots blast it to pieces 2 issues later) that it doesn't represent MTMTE Megatron to me. And all the best character arcs after he's in the silver tank body.
Nope , kinda sad to say but there’s no mtmte megs that’s mp scale . Closest you get is mmc’s tyrantron and that scales with tw/zeta’s Orion ?; the combiner war’s optimus with either of the two upgrade kits snd and beelzeboss*? Either that or the current model kit variant from flametoys which scales with their own idw optimus .
