This is my IDW inspired Metalhawk.

He is made using the RID 2016 Toys R Us exclusive Starscream.

Modifications from head-to-toes: The crest on his forehead was molded from the head of a DOTM Sideswipe. The antennas are cocktail picks. The shoulders were reversed so the circle is on the back and the other shoulder pieces are molded from a voyager HFTD Optimus Prime. The chest cockpit canopy was cut to look like vents and the chest vents were slightly modded. The wings on his forearms were molded from his own large wings and the wrist blades were molded from the wings of a cyberverse Prime Air Vehicon. The hip extensions were molded from a KO deluxe Vector Prime. Cocktail picks were also used on the lower legs. Some other cutting and trimming was involved as well.

I used Testors Enamels to paint him. Colors used were flat red, gloss dark blue, gold, gloss yellow, silver and a custom blue for the eyes. Krylon Matte Finish spray was used to seal and flatten the colors.

I love the alt mode. Wish Has/Tak would release an accurate MHawk though. This is closest than I've seen thus far. Well done

Yeah, he was all I could think about from the moment that I saw the previews of the Starscream mold on TFW2005. It's almost insane how well the mold works towards Metalhawl's IDW look.
